NFL Network had a top 10 Patriots list. I wanted to narrow down Packers greatest players. Top 5. Who do you have? My list:
1. Vince Lombardi. Not a player. However was an innovator and simply top coaches ever.
2. Bart Starr. Management/coaching circus aside, one of the most underrated QB's ever. Won NFL titles and Ice Bowl sticks in my mind.
3. Reggie White. Here only six seasons. Yet the guy was dominant. He is up there with L.T as greatest at his position. He was a driving force behind changing Packers identity. guy was just too darn good not to have him here.
4. Brett Favre. Obviously the iron man, brought Packers back to the glory land. Was tough deciding between him and Reggie. He's here for winning a SB and everything he did. Yet, ot interception vs Eagles, Giants, six pick game vs Rams, really stick with me. I don't think the guy was truly great when it mattered most.
5. Ray Nischke. Defensive force. Didn't put Curly Lambeau as it is way way before my time.
