Rumor has it Spencer Havner is done. GB is attempting to trade him along with Jason SPitz. If nothing else, they will be released.

Not sure how I feel about Spitz, but Havner should not get the ax, IMO

Jason Chery also cut. Who is returning punts this year w/o Blackman or Chery?!?!

What's your opinion for keeping Havner? Other than him playing TE and LB? I don't know much about how he played this preseason.

Probably Jordy Nelson or (biting nails) Sam Shields. Lumpkin or was it T Jackson did it some? Good question.

Just twitted packers turned down a trade offer for sptiz and he's staying.

On Havner, the guy was unstoppable inside the 10 last season. Every time he touched the ball it went for 6. Shields will never be allowed to field a live action regular season punt or kick return this season. Too big of a liability. Hawk has about as good a chance to win the job as Shields does.

Must have been a bad offer or from the Vikes. They have been doing everything they can to get value out of Spitz, and Rumor has it they were planning on shipping or cutting him. HAD to have been an offer from the Vikes.

I thought they'd keep Havner for his versatility of playing LB. Wonder if they're keeping Crabtree, then?

Pretty sure Crabtree was in first cuts... Am I wrong?!?!

Wow. I didn't see that anywhere. I saw the cuts to 75 and didn't see him there and haven't seen anything since. Guess I missed it if he was.

Blackmon is likely receiving an injury settlement. He's been having issues with his knee and took some steps backwards early on in training camp.

Nah, I'm not. The kid is pretty good when healthy and has been able to make it through all of training camp and preseason.

That said, this is likely his last chance.

Well, if you're going to keep the guy around for 3 years having been hurt, then you might as well see what he gives you when healthy during the regular season.

Hopefully Harrell keeps improving. Glad to see C.J. Wilson made the team.
