Yes I like Aqib Talib he could be a good pick however I also like this Leodis McKelvin from Troy he could be a nice pickup at corner too.
Hopefully we'll trade out of the first round, this draft is so deep in CBs and OL.
Welcome to the forum. :beer:Hello, first post.
Unfortunately, Jack Ikegwuono had a bad knee injury today, and won't be able to play in 2008. That is the risk of coming out early. I hope he can go back to college and finish up his degree.

He's got us taking a CB, and I like it. Aqib Talib, to be exact. I'd paste his breakdown of the pick, but evidently his site won't allow cut/copy.

Here is what it says:
REGGIE SMITH
DB | Oklahoma
Al Harris and Charles Woodson are one of the better starting cornerback combos in the league but to say the Packers have little or no depth behind them would be an understatement. Enter Reggie Smith, who played safety earlier in his college career before recently moving to corner in '07 and he could project to either position at the next level. A physical cover guy with great range and playmaking ability, Smith would provide a major upgrade in the nickel while being groomed for an eventual starting gig. In fact with things still unsettled at safety he could also contribute there as well.
Chris Williams in round 4? I think he'll go mid to late round 2. Real nice player in my opinion.
de_real_deal said:I think we need a dominant O-lineman. Regardless of the position. One dominant O-lineman changes the personality of the whole line. LT or a guard. A guy who never needs help, a guy you can run behind and get that 3rd & 1 every time. An Orlando Pace, a Jonathan Ogden, Tony Boselli, Larry Allen, etc. A guy like that. I think it would mean more to our offense than any receiver or running back would.
I havent kept up on the college players much but if there a guy like that available in the draft, i'd like to see us try and trade our picks to jump up and scoop him.
