What do you guys think of picking up Sam Adams for another veteran D body that is a classic run stuffer. I personally like the idea, especially since we can get him cheap. What a great teacher for Harrell.

I think picking up Sam would be a cool idea. Sam was a helluva RB magnet back in his day.

I don't think it's necessary.

He seemed to be less than effective as he normally is last year. I think he is on the downside of his career, and we don't need any other DTs to take playing time away from the youngsters.

He's had a solid career, but he'd just end up taking a roster spot from our already solid DT rotation. Guys like Cole and Jolly and obviously Williams or Harrell have more upside as reserves than Adams does.

Getting Harrell worked out good because he essentially took Allen's old DT spot on the roster.
