Last time we had such a meanning less game we ran up the score, rubbed it in their faces, and showed our game plan. In the playoffs Arizona then returned the favor. This game means NOTHING.

Spoken like someone who has no clue what they're talking about.

Arizona played about as vanilla as they come in that final regular season game and we just played our game. And they didn't "Return the favor" the following week in the playoffs, not when we put 45 points up on them. That game was a damn shoot out that ended on a bogus turnover that should have yielded us 15 yards and an automatic first down.

Sound like someone is expecting not to see Rodgers starting and is already making excuses for losing to the Lions who probably WON'T be pulling starters....unless THEY get a big lead.

I don't agree with this.

Arizona didn't even play their starters in that finale, and as for the playoff game, it was a constant back and forth, back and forth game where no team had a defense to do anything. You would have a point if the Arizona defense limited us in points, but we were on the same level as them that entire game and would have won it had that bad call been taken away (That WAS a facemask on Rodgerss, and this game was blown thanks to the refs)

He also forgets that the Packers were playing to lock up the # 5 seed in the week 17 game.

Another question might be "Have fans learned?"

That is do they understand that the game is very complex and very few of the brightest of the brightest can succeed. And that for MM to win a superbowl, despite the adversity of a large amount of injuries is amazing. And that it is very difficult to maintain a level of play in a team to get a record of 14-1. That very few superbowl winners are able to repeat due to the difficulties of decreased motivation, complacency, and being every teams target each game.

Therefore, have you realized that MM is an excellent coach? And that he is much closer to the pulse of the team; understands the individual and team psyche; and can probably make a better decision than even the most dedicated and information obsessive fan?

Have you learned?

Apparently not.

The only thing McCarthy learned from that game was that he needed a new defensive coordinator. I do believe his offense put up 45 points. We didn't run up the score in that game. Our last touchdown was Woodson's pick 6 I believe
