If I had to pick only one bet at this time, I would take the under on the Texans winning
7.5 games. Their QB situation is probably the worst in the league and I don't see Arian
Foster staying healthy for an entire season and they lost Ben Tate in free agency. A
disgruntled Andre Johnson also doesn't help.

Their defense is probably good for 6 wins, especially vs the NFC East, Oakland, Cleveland.

I wouldn't take that one. Texans could be better. They got talent. The bet I like right now is Green bay Plus 240 on the money line at Seattle.

Well, for all of the doom and gloom about how bad our team is it looks like we are one of five teams that Vegas thinks will have double digit wins.

There´s no doubt in my mind that the Packers are one of the top teams in the league, wouldn´t mind an improved defense in 2014 though.

Texans were a SB favorite last year. Obviously they were unprepared for the QB collapse they had. They will be much better this year and I would take the over for sure.

They haven´t done anything to improve at QB though. Right now they´ve Ryan Fitzpatrick, Case Keenum, T.J. Yates and Tom Savage on their roster.

They have all of training camp and preseason to prepare that QB. Last year when Schaub stunk, the alternatives were even worse. Give the next guy up a full offseason of 1st team snaps and the position will be much better.

I don't see any of them being an upgrade over Schaub, no matter how much time the Texans have to prepare the guy. Maybe they're still interested in trading for Ryan Mallett.

Don't sleep on cleveland. Last year their defense was very respectable, now they have added even more weapons. I think their weak link has been a good franchise QB. They will be improved this season, not enough to make a run, but .500 or better I bet.

I agree about their defense, they still don´t have a franchise QB though.

I know this.....but.....some forms of motivation can bleed thoughout the team and make them better. Im not saying that brian hoyer is some savior, but he did play above average before his knee injury and johnny football brings mojo and fire to a team, kinda like Luck did for the colts. They wont be a playoff team, but they will have some surprise wins this year, just watch.

Interesting. I pegged the Pack for 10 wins pre-draft. With the "B" draft and the signing of Peppers I'm bumping my projection 1/2 game to 10-5-1.
