you know when i jest in talking about your little packer tricks, chicanery, debauchery i never imagined that there was exactly that going on in the parking lot at lambeau after any viking loss. now i know where the moss moon came from and understand it and i think he stuck it to ya!!
i did not know that fans gathered in the parking lot and MOONED the viking bus on there way out of lambeau.
now i know that doing that also shows no class but i can understand why moss did it.
i think that most of you should rethink your status on ol randy. he was having some fun and although it may have not been the best thing to get back at the pack fans but now we know......
btw, i herd it from a horses mouth. tony dungy said that guys line up after a viking loss and moon the bus, and a full blown moon. so i guess that this is not a one time thing, since dungy left the vikes years ago. and he mentioned that he has seen it seven times.

Unless I hear this from Packer fans who saw this as well I doubt very much that this is true.

My boss was at the game and he is a Vikings fan. He was alittle nervous because he wore a Moss Jersey to the game but over all he was impressed by the Packer fans. He sat outside of Lambeau Field and Smoked a cigar after the game with his friends that a Packers Fan gave to them that they were going to smoke for a victory. From what I understand they were good cigars!

Every report I have ever read about opposing teams is that GB is the good place to play football as they dont get harrassed by the fans the way they do at other stadiums.

I have been going to Lambeau games for the past 12 years and our fans are usually pretty decent to the opposing fans. I even took a friend that is a Dolphins fan to the Packer Dolphin Monday Night game last year (which was great because we whoooooped their a$$), he got a little razzing but nothing he couldn't handle and dish back out. I did see a couple of morons in our section grab someones hat and pass it along but that was a few inbrits that should not be lumped into the true Packer fan catagory. They were then removed from the stadium.

Not that I don't believe vikes, but I would like to see a real write up (AP, GB Press Gazette) or hear it from a Packer fan. I lived in Wisconsin for 19 years and never heard about that, I think I would have caught wind of it somewhere along the way.

    I stand corrected:

    From ESPN:

There was anouther interesting quote from Tice:

So if he thinks the Packer fans showed no Class I guess thats a overwhelming confermation that his team has absolutley no class what so ever if they pretend to moon 70,000 people! Or that its ok that Vikings fans show no class at the Dome, but we are expected to always maintain a higher level?

What a load of crap Tice!

Here is where the article is from:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs04/news/story?id=1963829

I'd still like to hear this from a Packers Fan as this is the first I have heard of this. I dont put alot of faith in ESPN as I read an article there today about how they though what Moss did was so funny.

Real proffesional writing there boys

well i was at last yrs home opener loss to the vikings and if there was ever a time to be pissed about a game it was that one. being my first ever game i wanted around about 2 hrs after the game and saw every packers players leave. when i had left, the vikings were all still there. my point being the fact that when i left there were maybe 5 people still milling around near the gates so IF in fact anything like this does happen or if it happened that day, there was only a couple people that did it. dungy makes it seem like 100's of people wait around and line the parking lot. i personally thinks that it's BS and that was a good pt about dungy and the TO thing. i think him whining that the intro was racist was more disgusting than the moss thing. i'll be the first one to tell you that racism sucks but why is it racist if a white woman wants a black man to skip a game for her?

people were saying the media's reaction to the commercial was racially motivated..not the commercial itself. i thought the whole issue was hilarious, and much ado about nothing. must have been a slow news day.

I've never seen this happen at Lambeau......I think the whole article thing is in retaliation for everyone, not just Packer fans, being amazed at the stupidity and classlessness of Moss.

well, i dont think that dungy is going to lie in his press conf. in CONTEXT, for all of the bad taste, it was the funniest end zone celebration of all time.
i am sure that he has been waiting for a long time to do that. he has been in the league 7 years and how many times has he lost there? so take that multiply it by the crap he was hearing before the game, i am sure as soon as his feet stepped off the bus, and there ya have it.
i think this horse has already been beat enough.

lol, i heard that!!!! he will be in trouble sunday if he doesnt bring his thick skin with him.
but i think that he took it and then gave it back last sunday. i dont know what was said but i can imagine, i know what i wold say if i was a packfan. i would give it to him good. so its doesnt bother me. everyone is entitled to their opinions. and if i was one of the fans in the endzone, i would have laughed at him and threw a cup at him or something.lol

It's somewhat unusual that a Packers fan such as myself who went to his first Lambeau Field game in 1965 at age 7 has NEVER heard of such a TRADITION (such that it is). I find it equally interesting that Tony Dungy has suddenly become the mouthpiece for all that is righteous in the NFL ... in any event ...

The Viking fan starting this thread (like ALL Viking fans do), is looking for something ... anything ... to justify the actions of their team "boy". ...and before said Vike fan plays the race card, I'm referring to Moss' maturity level....and god only knows there is enough of a track record going all the way back to why this "child/man" ended up at Marshall instead of a major school.

Since it is plainly evident that this Viking fan needs to be instructed with crayons, let me explain why the whole of football, sans Viking fans and "Randy-enablers" are ticked off at his $10,000 shenanigans ... lets talk about a National TV audience. If the Vikings and their fans want this ya-hoo being representative of what the Nation thinks of when they hear the name "Vikings", that's your business ... but, don't even TRY to lecture Packer fans by hooking on to some lame reference made by a former Viking to justify the actions of a moron who is more of a detriment to your team than the touchdowns he catches benefits your team.

I will grant you that Randy Moss could be the premier receiver in the NFL (arguably), and because of that, he believes that he is above the team and the NFL as a whole...for now...I sincerely do not look forward to what becomes of this guy once he can no longer play the game and all of the "enabler" Vike fans have forgotten him entirely and could give a rat's *** about him. Good luck to him ... and the Vikes in Philly. Heh heh heh ... the beating inflicted on the Vikes will be merciless. Knock yourself out.

i dont know what tree you fell out of but i could care less what YOU think of moss, me, or anything else viking.
its my job to defend randy. and i wasnt really defending him, i was pointing out the fact of the pack fans being so hard on moss when it had underlying circumstances. it jsut wasnt out of the blue. and if you dont believe that pack fans moon the bus. you have to be the only jack on the planet by now. DO YOU HAVE A TELEVISION SET? and if you do, do you turn it on? its the cable, satellite era...get with the program chief.
moss may be the first thing someone outside viking nation thinks of but its not the only thing. if that is the only thing YOU think of you are pathetic as a fan of football.

so what do you want to do there eagles fan? let him go so you can get him. i herd that u need a WR. or two or three.

this was a rubber ball conversation jack. you bounced in, you can bounce out!!!!
i have been on this site only a short time and like the fans here and i could really show you how to degrade someone with or without crayons. but i would like to stay here. so go crawl back under that rock that is in the basement of your mom's home. and take a shower. YOU STINK!!
and regard to the beatin that we are supposed to get, and if you really are a pack fan, vikes beat the pack! NEWFLASH---- VIKINGS 31 PACK 17. did you hear about that one?????

i still don't believe it. despite what dungy may think. sure there were/are isolated incidents but not the "tradition" that tony thinks. i have found no proof that shows this has ever been anything more than a couple guys doing it one time and not even at the stadium.

moss will get what's coming to him. you don't make the comment that it's ONLY $10,000 and you're so rich that you pay straight cash. time for him to take a step back and realize that the very people paying his salary do think $10,000 is a lot and that insulting that figure won't get him far with them. i hope he does go thru with his threat to next time shake his d!ck and then go thru with the other one and walk off the field in the 2nd quarter. they need to suspend that guy or hit him with a huge fine. the track record is just getting too long.

moss is deflecting all the talk off the team. he is a genius!! watch and see. did you hardly hear anything before pack game that was actually about the game. i dont live in cheeseland or minny so i dont get the extra coverage. he wants you to talk about him. instead of picking at the team all week and their faults.

like i said why would dungy lie?
that cheese pedestal that you are on is warping your sense of reality? ??

Let me guess, you must think that Clinton didnt have sexual relations with that woman and there are WMD in Iraq as well right?

Obviously Dungy Exaggerated the truth. He probably got mooned once or twice an in his mind that was a tradition. The media takes anything and runs with it and dont care what the truth is as long as they have a running story! Everything I have read from long time packer fans and reports from security that escorts opposing teams off the property is that there is no Mooning Tradition in GB.
