Jordy Nelson and the Special teams as a whole. They came through big time.

I was impressed with Tramon.. sure would be nice to have another starting CB though, I know it's early but Shields was getting schooled.

Matthews over Vick for MVP only because of that last play. If Vick got it, he would have been MVP. Simple as that. With the victor goes the spoils.

Our offense didn't do too well, but its a win. And plenty of tape to go over. Thats the one thing I like with our QB we know he is going to go over this game like crazy.

aaron wasnt so hot, but one int was tipped after the lb was riding finley, and the second was a wet ball which he should have corrected for but oh well.

Aaron didn't look comfortable. Maybe its first game jitters because he hasn't played exceptional in any of the season openers. Clay matthews was a complete beast today. Secondary looked pretty solid. Special teams was good. Running game looked pretty good. Our one bad spot was the passing offense which no one could of guessed

Clay Mathews Hands down.

If Clay keeps up the sacks he could past the great Reggie White...

What happen with that Arron Rogers 2nd INT. Mis communication or what.

And also for Crosby for getting that 56 Yard FG.

But that will get worked out over the week.

First game jitters.

Give Arron time to warm up.

Yeah, good point. Lets not forget the ball was wet, and might have had something to do with the low passer rating for both QBs. Vick did own us running. Thank god we don't have to play Philly twice a year. I think blitzing him every down would have shut him down (Which we didn't do).

B-jack and Kuhn had a nice game as well. That one run by Kuhn was awesome when he was dragging 3-4 Eagles along.

Definitely Clay Matthews for the Packers MVP. If he had gotten that Pick, he would be working on his DPOY award. That hit on Kolb was a thing of beauty. Too bad Kolb got hurt, but welcome to the NFL son.

Yeah, you kind of had to feel sorry for Kolb. It was one of the nicest hard hitting legal hits, he could do. Also have to give props to Nelson for his nice returns.

Tell that to Chuck Howley

Incidentally, who has the brain in Philly to start Kolb?

Andy Reid.

Thing about a scrambling QB, they seem to keep you in games, but when they have to go against top defenses in the playoffs, they seem to lose a lot.

I mean, even though he ran all over us, they STILL LOST!! Even when we weren't game planning for it.

I agree. I think about that every time I see college football.

Against elite NFL talent, with a D that gameplanned against them, those scrambling QBs don't work. Ds are too fast for their speed to work, and too smart to be fooled every snap.

But trully elite QBs, you really can't defend them. Only contain them. Vick can't make a backshoulder throw. He can't make a 3rd and long (only when an undrafted rookie completely blows his assignment). Just look at the second time Vick came to the redzone. DeSean Jackson was wide open, and he didn't pass. He could've ran for the TD, but he tried to throw into tripple coverage.

I don't know what they got in Kolb. No doubt, he looked TERRIBLE today. Vick was by far the best option. But if they think that Kolb can be an elite talent, they should start him.

If Rodgers is playing moderatedly well in this game, Vick would've NEVER came back. Payton, Brees, Brady could.

Think about it. Do you really fear playing Young? You gameplan against him, and contain him. But you don't fear him the same way you do with the other guys.

Killing the buzz.
Clay Matthews
Mason Crosby
Charles Woodson

LVP:
Sam Shields (Good LORD did he get schooled by Maclin on that TD)
Rodgers (He has a tendency to come out too hyped in big games and miss easy throws. I think that's what happened today)
