The Draft is over, the season is almost here, just something the rules committee should review,
1 the muff rule, calling a fair catch and you drop it is a Fumble.
2 Teams can be allowed to challenge a penalty 2x’s one for each half only, and you don’t get a extra challenge if you are successful.
3 personal fouls that put a player out of the game that player is out, and the offender(s) will not be allowed to return to play until the player injured is able to return to the field of play.
4 Eliminate the Philly sausage aka **** push, it’s not football it’s more like rugby, if the player can’t advance, the play is blown dead, on both sides of the ball. Something to look at.

Agree with all especially the last one. Can you imagine **** Butkus having to play with #3?

Are you saying he was dirty in addition to ferocious? #3 applies to putting opponents out of action illegally.
Yes, because many of his ferocious plays were legal in the 60s. Today, he would be flagged left and right. The concussion he delivered to Bart Starr in the season finale of 1968 by smashing his head into the icy turf would have warranted a flag, a fine, and a suspension in today's NFL. The one plus coming from that event was that it angered the Packers so much that they went on to upset the Bears that day behind rookie QB Don Horn, thus eliminating them from a playoff spot and giving the division to the Vikings.
