Fiber deprived old guy.
Unless CBS sports is wrong in their standings, the Crew are 2 games up on the Dodgers.... BUT ... took the season with the Dodgers 4 games to 3 so, the Crew have the tie breaker.
You're correct, lead was only 2.5 on the Dodgers prior to their win, last night, to make it a 2 game lead now.Unless CBS sports is wrong in their standings, the Crew are 2 games up on the Dodgers.... BUT ... took the season with the Dodgers 4 games to 3 so, the Crew have the tie breaker.
Yep. It’s 2.0 games on its face but until last night. However technically the Dodgers were back 3.0 games from a #1 seed last night due to Milwaukee owning that tie breaker, so it’s really still the feel of + 2.5 gamesUnless CBS sports is wrong in their standings, the Crew are 2 games up on the Dodgers.... Well the heck ... OldSchool simplified it so much in his last post that I'm poppin' a bag of Doritos right frigging NOW.You're correct, lead was only 2.5 on the Dodgers prior to their win, last night, to make it a 2 game lead now.

Hey My simple brain needs help so I don’t overwork it!Well the heck ... OldSchool simplified it so much in his last post that I'm poppin' a bag of Doritos right frigging NOW.![]()
Hey @weeds it’s the Perfect setup ! Not to be greedy but My hope is we lock #1 down with a game or two to go. We can start strategizing to minimize usage at the top of our Bullpen, much like you’d do with a strategy of Batting Order. Having near a week of rest (several games + Bye) is rarity. It’s like having a couple work days off prior to a long holiday weekend....after last night's win and the Dodgers loss, the Crew are up 2 games plus the tie breaker, with 4 games left.
1 more win OR Dodgers loss & it's homefield advantage throughout playoffs, right?100 it shall be
I believe so... Dodgers start in an hour...if they lose tonight I believe the crew get homefield... BUT right now?, I'm happy hitting 100.1 more win OR Dodgers loss & it's homefield advantage throughout playoffs, right?
Wire to wire, the season has been spectacular. I can’t recall any consecutive losses.3 games left. 3 game lead. Brewers own the tiebreaker. Yeah... 100 and home field on the same night. Red letter day if you're a Brewers fan. I could not be happier for those guys and Murph. Big props to San Diego.
...and last night, a comeback win. Yeah, this has been a fantastic season. The thing that concerns me a little ... OK, more than a little, is that these guys have been largely flying under the radar as far as outside media goes because they're "small market", because they're "money ball", because they're "small ball", well, because they're NOT the Dodgers or Yankees or Red Sox - a lot of that might have everything to do with their unceremonious exit in the NLCS to the Best Team Money Can Buy last season... but that is going to change soon. Is there some way to keep the National sports media out of the locker room?Wire to wire, the season has been spectacular. I can’t recall any consecutive losses.

To think that the Orioles of 1969-71 won 318 games yet lost the WS in two of those years. If the Brewers close out this season with a Win they join just 42 Baseball Teams since 1961 (start of the 162 games regular season) that has Won 103+ Games in a single season.
At 103, Milwaukee would finish with only 12 teams who have Won more games in a Single season, Since 2000.
Their manager, Hall of Famer Earl Weaver, who at one time managed the Appleton Foxes ... the precursor to our very own Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. The Foxes played in a 1920's era stadium (I don't know when it was built, but you know what I'm talking about if I used the term "on stilts") on Spencer Street in Appleton. Goodland Field was where my baseball lovin' Dad took me to my first "professional" baseball game. It was also the stadium where I got my first autographed baseball - from a rookie named Alex Rodriguez. The ball was stolen off my desk at work. The next season ... new stadium ... new name...To think that the Orioles of 1969-71 won 318 games yet lost the WS in two of those years.
