What I really question is the origin of these rumors. I'm sure many would point to Favre and company and I would think that a likely scenario. As for motive: revenge. But revenge is a funny thing.

Ted eats breathes and sleeps ftball and I am glad. Its his whole life and nothing distracts him. I have never heard anything from anyone in the organization that suggests that he is gay. This only seems to come from fans of a man who enjoys taking pictures of his ****. If he is, good for him.
We thought randy would have stepped in line just like we assumed brett would be the saint he was portrayed to be. Not that much gets out of NE but nothing came out public that I remember that randy was a pain in NE until this year. I truly believe our offense would have exploded with randy in 2007. Too late though now to matter.
I think the fans want harrell cut because they are bitter, not because its a smart ftball move. He was performing well in camp and the talent is there. I have no problem with ted keeping him on. Bush was hated more than anyone and called to be cut for a long time but I have seen some nice compliments thrown his way this year on the forum even.
If anyone has talked to Wolf in recent years you will realize pretty quickly he doesnt follow ftball that closely anymore. But he likes to talk about his St Louis Cards if you ever run into him. Nice guy.

Ted doesnt go after free agents..
He doesnt sign the "typical free agents" But does sign free agents..
Clifton, and Taucher are examples of free agents he signed.

True. I questioned him myself, not for his draft picks but for not making the trades this year but the funny thing is, T.T. has come out looking like a genius on nearly every one of those arguments. Do you remember that "fire T.T." thread from earlier this year? Well, he surely must know what he is doing. I think he just does what he knows is right intuitively and could care less if people throw tomatoes at him and call for his head.
I think we might need to bring back that thread ....

People *always* seem to think the grass is greener elsewhere. If fans took just a few minutes to think about where we are now vs. where we used to be and the position we're in for the foreseeable future, they'd be more grateful.
What's nice is to see comments like these from fans of our division rivals:

I think it speaks volumes that fans of other teams have a respect for just how good our guys are. No, Ted isn't perfect, and yes, some of his moves lead some of us scratching our heads. He doesn't make big splashes in free agency or knee-jerk reactionary trades, but he's far from being the worst GM in the league. In fact, I'd say he's one of the best, and I think this season proves it. 10 guys out on IR, 5 starters, 5 immediate backups and we're still having success. Most any other teams would have folded by now. In fact, anyone remember the 2005 team, also riddled by injury and finishing 4-12?
Yet here we are, currently leading our division. Imagine how much better we will be next year when we have all of our big players back from IR. We have Ted to thank for that.
