Another event in the Aaron Rodgers drama this year. I'm not giving this much credence, but Boomer Esiason is claiming that someone in Rodgers' inner circle told him that Rodgers would threaten to boycott the Super Bowl (should the Packers get there) if the NFL doesn't make changes to its COVID protocols, particularly the testing of asymptomatic players. He might also threaten retirement next year.

Rodgers obviously does not like how the NFL is handling the pandemic, but this story seems too outrageous to take seriously. But I suspect we will be hearing about it over the next few days.

Rodgers is probably spreading outrageous rumors to various people, to find out who the leaks are so he can cut them out of his life.

Good thing we're not in Australia, the Super Bowl would be boycotting Rodgers, and he'd be the Novak Djokovic of the NFL.

Australia bans people at the border. Just like Canada and the US have just started doing with truck drivers. If we were in Australia, he and associates would have been in Covid quarantine centers or Covid hotels.

this sounds like BS but maybe if Rodgers had spent more time figuring out how to distribute the football and less time trying to be the center of media attention, he’d be playing football next weekend. But he’ll be on talk radio, phone interviews etc. Selfish Green Bay fans may lamment but the rest of the country is glad Arrogant Rodgers is available to manage COVID, the Ukraine, maybe tensions with China, inflation, supply chain…
