Pack 23...Giants 17.
If we don't win this game by double digits, I'm going to be pissed.
Suspended Green Bay Packers wide receiver Koren Robinson has submitted his application for reinstatement to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, but it will be at least five weeks [October 17] before he'll know whether he can resume his career, his agent said.
Gah.. dangit Greg.
"It's really going to come down to how sore it is, how much strength he has and not only 'can he make the throws?' but 'can he withstand the potential contact?'"
Watch Brady Poppinga vs. Jeremy Shockey.
The Giants will constantly be trying to get that matchup and hopefully Poppinga is up to the challenge.
So.....where the Giants "playing possum" all week? Now Osi and Manning will play? Well, i doubt they would be 100% if they do play.http://www.packersnews.com/includes/newspaper/blogs/insider/index.shtml
Will Manning play, or won't he?
There are reports out of New York that quarterback Eli Manning practiced in at least half of the team's snaps at practice today. That would indicate Manning could very well play against the Packers on Sunday. Then again, it's hard to know who to believe. The Giants are being as vague as possible about Manning's status. We likely won't know for sure until the opening kickoff whether Manning can play through his shoulder injury. The guess here is that Manning doesn't go if he's not close to 100%.
Jennings, Morency questionable
Though it seems a long shot running back Vernand Morency or receiver Greg Jennings will play Sunday against the Giants, the Packers listed both as questionable on today's injury report -- a designation that means each has a 50-50 chance for playing. Neither practiced today, nor did receiver Carlyle Holiday (knee), who also was listed as questionable but likely will miss Sunday's game. Guard Jason Spitz (calf) also sat out a day after returning to practice on a limited basis. He, too, is questionable. End Aaron Kampman (rib) completed practice for the first time this week. He's listed as probable.
More notable was the Giants' injury report, which listed quarterback Eli Manning (shoulder) as questionable with limited participation and end Osi Umenyiora (knee) as probable with full participation. Earlier this week, it appeared likely both would miss Sunday's game.

Last time they met: The Giants won, 14-7, in Week 4 of the 2004 season. Brett Favre was knocked from the game with a concussion in the third quarter. He missed two plays after defensive lineman William Joseph knocked him to the ground but then returned to throw a 28-yard touchdown pass to Javon Walker on fourth-and-5. The Packers' medical staff then forced Favre to stay on the sideline.
