Williams was playing the Packers. They make just about anybody look like Joe Montana when they have the lead. It's just who they are.
Unlike most years, I've watched several Bears games this year. That performance was not atypical for Williams. That's what the Bears do. It's worse against us though, because this is what the Packers do. This is our identity now.

I was watching the Packer Squad podcast, and they marveled at how inaccurate Williams is, how he'll throw a pass and miss a guy by 25 yards. But on his next pass, he'll squeeze it into an impossibly small window. One of the guys astutely explained it by saying "He's a winner".

Are our strength and conditioning coached really this bad? It seems like our team is always gassed in the 2nd half of games!
Last night it had a lot to do with our offense disappearing completely in the third quarter. But I've wondered if our conditioning played a part in our chokejobs also.

To be fair, sometimes the Packers take off the first half and then decide to expend their 20 minutes of football in the second half. Not usually, but it does happen.

I would think that their strength and conditioning have been at the bottom of the league for many seasons. Like Special Teams, I think it gets pushed down to a lower priority. There are multiple levels of evidence to bolster that assertion.

Think about it this way: if MLF kept Mo Drayton around much too long to eventually wreck a season, then it wouldn't be surprising that he'd also mismanage or overlook strength and conditioning.

And when your offense gets 1 first down in 4 possessions you better be facing a bottom feeder to win the game.

After watching the game replay last night, just finished my drink and went to bed, 30 MINUTES is all the Packers had to do to hold on to a 18 pt lead and send the Bears in hibernation in their own home, 30 MINUTES! It’s not like they were nursing a 3pt lead or a 7pt lead but 18pts, and failed, collapsed, choked, whatever you want to call it,just proved the Packers are where they deserve to be at home on the couch watching everyone else play, yes coaches are to blame, but players are more to blame because they are on the field, no MLF will not be fired but his inability to take his team deep in the post season will come in question McManus future should be decided on Monday as well as others coaches included, no excuse for this loss and embarrassment none.

Is Love top 5? No, but he's good enough to win you a championship.
Doesn't look like he is good enough to take us anywhere.
He has let 2nd year Caleb beat him 3 of the last 4, (would'a been 4 in a row if Nixon didn't snatch that TD pass.

Some will blame the coach for Love's short-comings. I am one of them.

Throwing 4 TD's isn't good enough? He also threw some beautiful passes that were dropped. When Love occasionally struggles, its usually because his attempts are very low or there are a ton of drops.

The problem with the Packers is coaching and a soft team culture. What more can Love do? Kick FG's and extra points?

I can be very critical, but when guys excel, they deserve the credit too. Love deserves credit for playing a very good game last night.

In 2 of those 3 he did not play much of the game for a couple reasons.

Too cold. He likes Florida.
True. When I watch him on YouTube I noticed he always likes to mention his time in Green Bay when he was a QC coach under Holmgren. There’s another no-nonsense coach who wouldn’t take mediocrity. Far cry from MLF

Great staff under Holmgren. Mooch, Chuck, Nolan Cromwell, Fritz Shurmur ( although I hated his 3 man rushes ).
