Good pick for Thursday Night. I didn't think they would have a chance. Flacco is surprising everyone at this point.
I think Tomlin said it that why would you trade your starting QB to a division opponent 5 games into the season. The Browns just made it competitive by doing that but are not going anywhere themselves.

The franchise has been rebuilding ever since they were the new Browns back in 1999. Only a .335 winning percentage since, worst in the NFL.

They never quite get the formula right. When the player cycle is down, their coaching cycle is up, and when they finally start to get the player cycle up they change coaches and leadership and like a yo-yo, they're heading back down.

Amish Mafia went 12-0 today. That's one hell of a nice day. I found four spread bingos spread amongst four players, and no score bingos. More to come after tomorrow's games.
I know I was off by 1 on GB 27-24

Nice job @AmishMafia ! Well Done. Aaron Rodgers and D.K. Let you down on 2 INT’s. You’d be undefeated

The Giants-Broncos game is why bingos get so difficult. Missed PATs. Made or missed 2 point conversions. Add to that all the penalties.
There's always the spread bingo, but it's 100 points less. Albert Park picked up a spread bingo in this one point squeaker. Denver's 33 points in the 4th quarter showed some moxie.

Could have been 1, 2, or 3 points. Could have been either team.

In week 7 Amish Mafia was a shining star. He started his week like most of us, by picking the Steelers in the Thursday night game. Unlike the rest of us he followed that up by picking the next 14 winners to cap a 230 point, 14-1 week. He has picked 73 winners this season, best in our contest thus far, and moved up to second place in the standings.

There were 4 spread bingos this week, bringing the season's total to 57. There were no score bingos, we have 7 to date.

I can remember the days when watching the NHL was watching one bunch of Canadians beating up on another bunch of Canadians.
During the 1962-63 NHL season, which I don't remember, as I was born just before it started, 97.6% of the players were Canadian. That would have been only 3 non-Canadians and about 123 Canadian players. Now there are more international fights, but the Canadians fare pretty well when the gloves are dropped.

When I was 15 I played Bantam minor hockey. I played center. There really wasn't much fighting in that league. One night I was getting consistently harassed around the net by a big wide defenceman, and got sick of all of the interfering so I dropped my gloves ready for a fight. What I got in return was a surprisingly hard crosscheck to the chest which put me on my back. Meanwhile my linemate who liked to fight, started up a real fight with another player. Unfortunately he got pushed back slightly, and his skate blade caught my thumb when I was down. I bled a fair bit, but still had to serve a penalty. The two actual fighters were thrown out of the game per league rules.

I remember sitting in the penalty box with the guy who ran the clock and his very hot girlfriend who was in my grade 10 homeroom, while trying to staunch my bloody thumb. A little later that night I got 3 stitches at the hospital. I never took my gloves off on the ice again in the next 5-6 years I played hockey.
