Here we are just about to start week 7, and what do we know? Even though we're already a third of the way into the season, in many ways it's still almost as hard to predict as week 1. One thing that is for certain, is that we will always have some degree of uncertainty with which NFL teams to pick.

In addition to the Thursday night game there is another London contest at 8:30 am CDT, Sunday when the Rams and Jaguars take to the Wembley Stadium pitch.

All are welcome to play, and good luck to all!

All weekly entries must be in before game times, Thursday night kickoff, 8:30 am CDT for the London game, and the rest before 12:00 noon Central Time on Sunday.

Guess the score of each team of each game...
Each game you pick the correct winner of: 5 points
If you pick correctly on at least half the games scheduled for the week earns a 20 points bonusl
If you pick correctly on at least 75% of the games earns a 40 point bonus (plus the previous 20 points).
If you get all but one of the games correct nets 100 bonus points (plus the 20 & 40 from above)
Guess right on all the games and enjoy an additional 150 points (plus the previous 20, 40 & 100)
If you pick a game score in which you pick the winner and the correct margin of victory, you will get 25 bonus points. We'll call this a spread bingo or a mini bingo.
And ..... If you guess the correct winner and score of any game: 125 bonus points tacked on for each correct game. (You will not receive the 25 spread bonus with a Bingo) This is known as a score Bingo.
If you've got incredibly mad skills and happen to guess every correct score of every game: you get a mega jackpot of 5000 points (Lotsa luck with that one.)
At the end of the regular season the player, or players with the most correct picks over the regular season will receive 180 bonus points, or a split of that amount.

Something I thought interesting about the Jets this year. They have what could be the worst receivers in the NFL. I guess they figured Justin Fields could scramble all over and find at least someone to throw the ball to.

Garrett Wilson is having a decent year with 36-395-4, but their second-best wide receiver is Josh Reynolds at 8-72-0. Alan Lazard, the ex-Packer is a total waste of targets which is surprising.

They need a complete makeover. Fields and Tyrod Taylor as your QBs is about as effective as getting Abbott and Costello to be MLB baseball managers because they did the "Who's on first?" routine so effectively.

Poor Justin Fields, -10 yards passing, and little to no running game. As bad a stat line as I can remember.

The strangest part might be that they had a lead late in the fourth quarter with an opportunity to win.

I don't think I've ever seen a team as anemic on offense as the Jets to be honest. They don't have anything that works. Their offensive line is not capable of opening up a hole for any of their RBs, and the defenders are on Fields in less than 2 seconds. If you look at their passing record, their 2nd and 3rd best receivers are their TE and RB.

Look at that one game sack number. Nine! Every member of that offensive line needs to be held accountable. They're going to need a lot of retooling before next year and I think that first pick is a good way to start. Use it to collect additional 3rd and 4th round picks by dropping way down in the first. From what I've been seeing, there's about a dozen offensive linemen in the top 45 to 50 which would be a big boost using their two early picks on them, or even trading down again in the first for a 2nd and 4th or 5th and still get the second in the top 50 and have some real fire power in the middle rounds to add players on the offensive line and other places of need.

I don't think this is going to be a good year for QBs to be honest. If Manning comes out from Texas he'll be one of the better ones and to be candid, after watching his game this year, I haven't seen too much in the line of advancement on his part. In fact I think his game is falling behind where it should be. A lot of people think Fernando Mendoza out of Indiana is going to be a good QB. They might be right. He's proving himself in the Big 10 against some tough opposition but he's going to be the type of player who needs at least two years on the bench learning the game before he becomes a starter or he's going to go down the tubes. What he can do is become a solid QB in a system that follows the same pattern as the Packers offense. His only shortcoming in that respect as he's never been a running QB.

I dunno. I think they need so much that they'd be better off looking at bringing in a free agent QB. It may sound strange, but I think Malik Willis would be the perfect FA QB to grab for the Jets. Why? He's a QB who will play within a system, and if they bolster that offensive line, he would be an upgrade from Fields.

My questions also include if Aaron Glenn can find assistants who can follow that lead. I'm not a bit impressed with their coaching staff.

tynimiller got the TNF pick right:tup:, twelve others did not :(
Knew this would be a close one but still hard to believe the Steelers would give up 470 yards to Cincy, especially as many on the ground along with 33 points. Flacco was amazing. Had it not been for the drops the Bengals surpass 40. This game gave us a look at how to attack the Steelers. You can bet that Tomlin is not going to let that happen 2 weeks in a row.
Rodgers may go after our D differently. He should get to see Parsons along with a better defense. He will not have all day to sit back there.
