Belton and Tom are both out, and Banks is doubtful.
Yep. We’re technically short 2 Starters LG, RT
I do think Kinnard in the short term is more reliable than Belton. Kinnard is more NFL prepared. There’s a reason we traded a 6th Rounder to get him. They checked Kinnard out pretty good. Belton is good but he’s still raw.

A very costly loss for Minnesota today. Their center, Ryan Kelly, suffered his 2nd concussion in 2 weeks, and the 5th in the last 2 seasons. He's going to be out a while, and it wouldn't surprise me if he's through with football.

Starting right tackle Brian Neale left the game with a knee injury (apparently a torn MCL), and then his replacement, Justin Skule, also left with a knee injury - the nature of which has not yet been disclosed, probably because they're having a hard time keeping up with all the injuries.

Whoever is playing under center for them next week is going to be under the gun. If it's Wentz, he's going to pressured a lot, and he didn't do very well under pressure today. If it's McCarthy, he's not going to be very mobile just coming off that high ankle sprain, and he's going to be a sitting duck out there.

Not a happy day in Minnesota today.

Vikes are staying in Europe for next week's game... elevate a couple of PS OL's and pray Wentz can throw quickly?

I created a video about the early years of the Green Bay Packers (from 1921-66), specifically focused on their winning percentage, Divisional Titles, Championship Titles, and the players that became Hall of Famers.

It was a fun experience.

Yikes, the way the rest of the division is stacking wins, I hope that tie doesn't come back to bite us. Sometimes they can actually help, but right now even the Bears have as many wins as we do.

13 games to play for the Pack. A tie can work both ways. But it is still not as bad as a defeat. What could come back to bite us is losing to the Browns in light of the Lions and Vikings beating both of them.

We didn’t get any help this week. Both Detroit and MN held strong. The Vikings trailed the Browns for much of this game. They nipped Cleveland in the closing seconds.

Kevin chipped Myles on 42% of his pass rushes snaps. Effectively taking him out of wrecking the game. He also drew up a nice RB trick play.

Due to The packers beating the Lions, The Division is still wide open. GB should be able to Win 5 or more of the next 7 contests. Our strongest opponent until our rematch with Detroit is hosting the Eagles at Lambeau. Pittsburgh is our next toughest and it’s a Road game. So there’s no game that’s not winnable, but we need to stop making excuses each week.

September is an unstable month for the league. Wins and Losses are all that count. Every team in the NFC has had at least 1 bad game or shown susceptible to losing. The Packers lost the Browns. The Bucs nearly lost to Falcons and the Jets. The real teams step it up a notch in October.

GB is likely returning at least 1 starting OL and 50/50 on Wyatt. We will see another several returning players off IR /PUP but it will likely take a couple of weeks to ramp them up also. As simple as it sounds to beat Cincinnati, I’d remind ourselves that no team is immune from an upset. A Victory and 3-1-1 would go a long ways to staying in a tight North race. Guys this isn’t really much different than we expected before the season started. Every team in the North can Win if they play to talent level.

Here's some more food for thought: Since GB beat Detroit in the season opener, the Lions have won four games while we have won one.

Here’s some more. If the Packers beat Detroit next meeting they are 1/2 game back of the Division lead. One slip up and that’s all she wrote.

Not that comforting really, considering they spotted us a game. Anyway, we'll have to win a road game for that to happen.

Rmontro. I’m not here to comfort you. No offense. I’m here to tell you that this is a long season. You’re getting way ahead of yourself imo.

I’ll put it right here and you can copy and paste it later.

IF Green Bay plays to talent level in all 3 phases they can beat any team in this league in any day and at any location. Bank on it. That includes Philly and Detroit

To be more accurate. As long as GB is playoff bound? They might not even play both teams. I’d almost prefer we play our best in Jan -Feb. let the regular season unfold as it may.

This could be another year where 3 teams in our division makes it to the playoffs. It could change, but there's that chance. There's also a chance that all 4 teams will have winning records. That would be amazing.

I’ve watched the same melt down everyone else watched. However September by itself doesn’t define a team. I’ll stand by this next thought. This is a better Packer Roster from a pure talent level than any team since 2010. Especially if we’re relatively healthy going into postseason. Which truthfully now, can anyone argue that have we been strong in health?

Losing Watson and Reed hurt more than people care to admit. Reed finished 1 game. I could make a legitimate case that we haven’t played with our Top 2 WR’s yet. I don’t think anyone could argue we haven’t played with 2 of our best 3 WR’s yet. It makes a difference. It’s ok I’m ok with that it’s not a complaint or an excuse. I’m a rare breed of thinking so if you don’t agree that’s ok too I don’t expect everyone to think like me. But I like that our WR3,4,5 are getting lots of experience. I think that will help us later this season when Watson and Reed are back, when Golden is pushed to WR4 where he’d really belongs as a Rookie (again no offense he’s a stud)

Flipping out OL and then losing our 2 most experienced doesn’t help either earlier in a season. This OL was already going to take a month or so IF healthy. It just backed us up a month. Just keep above .500 and keep grinding. This more recent Jordan Love led version just takes a minute to shift gears, but she is fully capable of running 200+ mph around the track once full throttle. If we learned any lesson in September at all it’s that all that matters is getting to 3-1-1, later season will take care of itself. 3 of the Top 4 Power ranked teams just lost.

100

To be two blocked field goals away from sitting 4-0 with the bumps and issues we've absorbed is honestly freaking awesome.

If only like 3/4 of the fanbase understood it is HARD....FREAKING HARD to win in the NFL.
Just this last week the Eagles lost to the Broncos, the Rams lost to a Mac Jones led 49ers, and the Bills lost to the Patriots.

Oh, and by the way, the Cowboys scored 37pts again this week, which is their 3rd most points scored in a game out of 5. I think the Bears game was their clunker game, like the Browns game was for the Packers.

I think one of the problems that makes us see games as more lopsided than what they are is because of what happens in the college game. In college, if Northwestern plays Ohio State, we can pretty well bet the farm against a cup of coffee what's going to happen. The talent difference between the two is so enormous that it's total unlikely Northwestern will even put up a battle past the first quarter. In the pros, every team has talent it's just that some are a little more talented and they may well also have a better coaching staff in the long run. But that doesn't mean that a team that's 0-4 can't jump up and slap down a 4-0 team as if they were really on an equal footing.

Regardless of how hard we figure players are working on the field, if there's something special to them about this game, they can actually find another gear to play in. When enough of them do, and the coaches come up with game changing schemes on both sides of the ball, they can flip the script and take "the starch" out of the opposition just enough that you can sneak past them to beat them.

Until this year, and I don't think it's dead yet, Andy Reid has been one of those coaches that uses his assistants to dream up schemes and wrinkles that constantly test the opposition and make them hard to beat. Of course, to do that you need a front office that understands the plan and works accordingly to insure they get the tools he identifies as important to his plans. That will work as long as the fire burns inside the coach to continuously explore and modify how they play. Then there's the players. They have to be onboard with it too. They need to execute those game plans at an extremely high level every game. Confidence is a huge part of winning. I have yet to see a coach who can say without hesitation that he has players out there who are giving 100% every play and believe what he said. So much can play out in the minds of those on the field.

In reference to the Chiefs. Does Andy still have that drive? Without it they could be an average team. Does it seem like Mahomes game is slipping, or is it that he just doesn't have that extra gear any longer that makes than half dozen or fewer extra special plays in a game that flip the field and put points on the board? Do the defensive coaches and players feel that the offense is generating to their potential, or do they feel like they're being let down and is it making them just a little less aggressive which leads to the opposition having more opportunities to score. When does a kicker begin to lose confidence in the players around him and the coaches that choose them because he goes through his normal actions and gets kicks blocked. Twice now with the Packers. If his kicks start going wide, it's more on the supporting cast than him. He's going to be seeing guys coming at him out of the corner of his eye and its distracting. Our defense, after watching wasted drives by the offense, followed by bad decisions and handing the ball to the opponents with short fields becomes a problem not only on the field but in the minds of defensive players who wonder why they are letting them down. They feel the same about special teams and in all cases, the coaches as well because they are the teachers and the people calling the shots.

Any given Sunday is so true. It has become a bigger thing since the common draft and salary caps have held a lot of movement in check. Even the blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.

We dish ragged Dallas.
We've been without our #1 corner all year.
#3 pass rusher, #2 LB, our RB room has had injuries.....it's a part of the game.
At least we're not Baltimore......right?
