I think it’s fair to say the reason Thomas lost out to the other LBs was as the lightest LB, he was weaker vs. the run. The article makes the point that the only spot from scrimmage he’s likely to play is MLB in the dime.

Interesting read. It seems like the Packers like Thomas' coverage skills. I'm afraid teams will be able to exploit him running the ball though as the Chiefs did on two of Charles' TD runs.
