Minneapolis Won't Escort Packers Players To Game

According to this article, the city of Minneapolis will no longer provide police escorts to team buses starting with the Packers game on Nov 23rd. Apparently they won't provide escorts until they've finished a re-evaluation following a squad car / bus crash prior to the Minnesota vs Washington game last weekend. It's interesting that the Packers, the Vikings' most hated rival, is the first team to not get an escort.

Typically you escort people to an execution. I think the Mpls police should be directing their attention to the Vikings.
