Alexander was actually a Safety starting off at LSU. Chavis was known for taking Safeties and making LB's out of them because it was what his defense was built around - Small fast sideline to sideline type LB's who were built more like Safeties.

Chancellor was actually a LB at Va Tech too.....These guys are similar in size and speed.

Whoever drafts Alexander, would be smart to try him out at Safety.

He'd be around in round 4-5 I am thinking.

I like the idea of putting Alexander at safety but think he will be gone off the board by the end of the third round. Not sure the Packers want to spend a day 2 pick on a safety project.
