"People might not want to spend money on a guy who lost most of his 2012 to injury."

Yeah. Just like how they didn't want to spend any money on a QB who missed all of 2011.

"In the present day, the Packers will probably be fine, thanks to one guy. A lot of people loved the pick of Randall Cobb in last year’s draft. However, I do not think people thought he would burst onto the scene so soon. He had a so-so rookie year but he has taken off this season."

I think we all saw something special in the kid when he ran back that kick off in the opener against the Saints for a TD.

You are completely correct, I feel like most people who saw him last year saw something special out of him. My uncle a Steelers fan was talking about him during easter. The only reason you could call it so-so was because he didn't get on the field much, but when he did he was great. I feel like the guy just said that to try and make a point even though it was not true at all. Oh well as long as he IS performing who cares what he thought of his performance last year.

Jordy tweaked his hammy yesterday. He's iffy.
Jennings is out.
Donald will be fine.
Jones is strong.
Cobb is still young.
Boykin is a guy who will be real good one day. He might be ready now.
We're fine still... good thing we're so deep there.

Could always throw out 2 TE sets on offense as well.

I don't understand why he has to wait till Wens to have the surgery.
Is there only one surgeon in Green Bay?
And knowing Wisconsin it's probably like:
"First we apply the anesthetic with this rubber mallet with a knock to the noggin."
"And now, nurse, chainsaw..... Pliers..... Power drill.... Screwdriver. No. The one with the orange juice in it."
No wonder why he's going to Philadelphia to get it done!

(Hey Kitten! Maybe you could try and see him. LOL)

Geez, the Packers should rename themselves the "Flies". 'Cause they sure are dropping like them.
Some names and images are meant to be intimidating.
Bears.
Lions.
Raiders.
Buccaneers.
Packers ain't in that same group.
So flies would be about the same.
OK.
The Green Bay Flies it is. :D

I haven't inquired who is doing the surgery but I would assume its Dr James Andrews.

Greg Jennings fits his schedule around James Andrews. Not the other way around.

Recovery is going to be about 6 weeks. Ideally he would play week 17 in preparation for the playoffs. Otherwise I would be concerned to change the offense that late in the season.

I was thinking it should be "The Killer Flies from the Depths of Hell", though.

This sucks because with this he'll probably be done for the rest of the season.

I don't think they helped Jennings either by putting him back in games when he wasn't fully healed.

Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings will have surgery to repair a torn abdominal muscle on Tuesday. Jennings said that he expected to be back in the locker room on Wednesday after the 20-25 minute outpatient procedure, but wasn’t willing to attach himself to a timeline for getting back on the field when he announced his…
