If Willis is active and Matt doesn't have some plays for him in certain down and distances, he has to go! What more do we have to see? The guy is a weapon. Put Love and Willis in the backfield at the same time, run some RPOs, something.

Enough of the political content please.

There are other forums out there that can accommodate your need to discuss that content. No more discussing of the situation that happened in MN beyond this point.

If you wanna debate a user about it use the PM function.

To some, yeah.

To be fair, I pop my own kernels! But the seasonings are packaged that I got from Walmart. Hey, you know what they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! :roflmao:
I poop my own kernels too. But my wife is Not a fan :(

My moderator senses were tingling when I got on my lunch break. Seen the reports and knew something happened.

I don't even know how it even got started.

We have a handful of posters that play the "I'm not touching you" game that bored siblings play in the car. Just at the line, insinuating but not crossing it.

I would 'Love' to see Willis come in for a change of pace. Making the Bears have to prepare for two QB's would spread confusion in their defense.

Jordan Love also doesn't attempt a lot of passes compared to many other teams. Bringing in Willis might reduce his attempts by a few more, but the change of pace could be quite a weapon.

The team needs to be lifted out of their doldrums. Doing something as bold as playing two QB's might do that. Now is not the time to hold back.

Back in Packer land...

From what I'm reading the weather again will be terrible. Hope this time they can stop the run game to some degree of success.

Also hope The Pack brought their own heaters this time. As The Bears will try to break them again

Yeah that was too convenient on the heaters. It didn’t seem to help though as we pretty much beat on them for much of the game. Chicago scored 9 points through 58 minutes until the onside kick.

While I’m not expecting to be that dominant on D, I do see a lower scoring game but moreso based on wind. Even an XPA becomes problematic.

The forecast has at least tamed just a little. At one time several days ago made 32 at kickoff 28 when it was over and wind at 18MPH with 35MPH+ gusts. Plus a 50-80% of Freezing rain or Ice or snow precipitation during the game. Had the weather dial turned any worse it could’ve been brutal.

Tonight that forecast is a shave better.
33 at kickoff 29 when it’s over and Wind between 12-16 MPH. With little to almost no precipitation after the morning hours, except 20% chances at 10pm.

While this isn’t ideal football weather, for mid January this could’ve been worse. Chicago’s January average High 32 degrees with a low of 19 degrees.
The average wind speed in January is 11.3MPH.

So overall we’re talking almost smack dab average. A couple degrees above and wind at a couple mph above averages.

Supposably the game will also be airing on Twitch.tv. That site is owned by Amazon for anyone wondering. You don't need prime to see the game.

I have two questions. 1. Who will be playing L tackle? 2. Who do you want to play L tackle? Honestly, I don't know the answer to either. I'm very concerned about Morgan messing up and I'm also concerned about Walker's ability to run block. I guess I'm for Morgan getting a shot but having him on a very short leash.

An interesting fact. The lowest price of tickets available for tonight's Packer/Bears game is $361. For the rest of this round of playoffs, the closest price point is $209 for the 49ers/Eagles. Here's the rundown on all of them.

Now, guess which game will also carry the highest Nielsen rating for this week's games? I'd bet a shiny penny it will be the Packers/Bears and could set a record for viewership of a Wildcard game.

Packers/Bears - $361
49ers/Eagles - $209
Bills/Jags - $206
Texans/Steelers - $168
Chargers/Pats - $134
Rams/Panthers - $134

I think they have to go with Walker, just for the experience factor. If you don't count pre-season, Morgan only has one game, last week, at LT this year. As for who I want to play LT.... I'm going with Walker, for the same reason I listed above.

Your concerns are well grounded. A difficult choice. The one thing I think might come into play is that Walker knows that this could be his last game if they lose, going into free agency, and if he's out there, he's going to play at a level that will make him look better when it comes to contract negotiations. Usually this is the case for an entire contract year, but in his case that's water over the dam, he now has to concentrate on showing he still has it in the tank to be worth a huge contract.

The psychological issues come into play more often than people realize, especially in a game as physically demanding as it is in the NFL.

Honestly Willis is such a quick, agile runner. He could easily be put out there as a non-qb, with wild trick play ability... You hate to risk his health... But it could justify paying him a solid salary to stay in GB as #2qb. Give him another part time job, you could say. Lol. I'm sure he would love that.

In the Green Bay area it's on NBC 26. Official Packer Station and all that legal stuff.
