This is becoming a never ending thread over a 5th round pick that even if he made the team wasn't probably going to see the field.
You realize you’re complaining about this thread being “never ending” while you continue to post on it, right?
At least you've gone from 'he wasn't going to make the team' to 'he wasn’t going to see the field' in the space of two days. Hey, maybe if you keep responding to this thread you’ll be projecting him into the #3 WR spot by the end of the week.
And remember it was your assertion he wouldn’t make the team that sparked a lot of the subsequent responses. I hope for the best for all Packers but the difference between Abbrederis and Lyerla in the first week of TC is Abby was doing extremely well and Lyerla was dropping passes. Gary Andersen was on Sidelines recently and said ‘Abbrederis plays faster than he times’. The jsonline said he played bigger and stronger than advertised. Some players look great at the combine and others look great in-game. Abby is the latter. Painting his season-ending injury as some kind of blessing in disguise is just foolish IMO. For example, the Packers are deep at CB, which one would benefit the Packers by suffering a season-ending injury?
He’s done for the season and nothing posted here will change that. Some of us don't see that as a positive.
