Pausing for a moment this Memorial day weekend to remember and honor all those that sacrificed themselves so that I would have the freedom to live my life mostly as I want and to raise my children how I damn well please. A special hats off and prayer to those who have volunteered to pick up their burden and stand ready to carry on their unfinished battle.

Gratitude from across the pond too. I`m off (again) in June to the battlefields and cemetries of Belgium and France to pay respects to the fallen of WW1 and WW2

I will be walking the beaches of Utah and Omaha as well as the American cemetery during a visit to Normandy in a month. I cannot wait.
