For now, Packers pass on Pathon

For this week, at least, the Green Bay Packers are going with rookie Terrence Murphy in a prominent role and not signing any receivers to their roster.

The Packers brought in Jerome Pathon for a workout on Tuesday and have scheduled several more workouts with receivers for next week in case they want to fill Javon Walker

I think its a smart move to not sign someone right away. Lets see how T-Murph does and then evaluate. However I think we should bring a practice squad guy up.

They should sign Jerome.

He is Canadian.

In Canada, unlike the good ole U.S.A. beer actually works. Wisconsin is a beer town. It is a good fit. 6.5 % alcohol in beer is a good thing.
