Bucks acquire Nikola Mirotic from the Pelicans

Bucks will send Jason Smith and Stanley Johnson(who this just got I guess) to the Pelicans.

Love this trade. Mirotic is a legit 3 point sniper averaging 16.7 pts/game...actual NBA games! He even had a 36 point night in October.

Just heard one detail, that now makes it look like much less of a lopsided trade. Bucks might have given up 4 future 2nd round picks in the deal?

So if I have this correctly, the deal ends up costing the Bucks:

• Thon Maker (traded yesterday for Stanley Johnson)
• Jason Smith (and Stanley Johnson)
• 4 -2nd Rd Picks: 2019 (via Denver), two in 2020 (via Washington and Milwaukee) and 2021 (via Washington).

Coming out of that with Mirotic is a win for the Bucks.

No he is gone.

4 - 2nd round picks is less of an issue in the NBA. Tough for a 2nd round pick to make this roster.
