His dad passed away last night

If that man is even half the man his sons, the Packers writers and others have said - this world lost a tremendous man.

He honorably served his country for 29 years. RIP Mr Alvin Jones.

It is. Jones is such an upstanding guy that it's obvious Dad and Mom did a helluva job.

Only 57...Way too young.

Everything I've read about him has been positive. He certainly did a great job is raising his son, and as a fellow vet, I feel a kinship with hi even though we never met.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to meet him in the next life. Rest In Peace, Alvin Jones.
