Crap.....mixed up draft prospect threads. This is the 2026 and where this was supposed to be:

As most folks have stated, DL is going to likely be a need - especially with Wyatt's 2026 likely partially impacted if not entirely impacted...as of right now there is for sure only one defensive lineman not worth wasting time learing about or scouting and that is Peter Woods out of Clemson. He's a top 10 player for sure. Likely a few others sprinkle into the first but this is a year it seems we likely see maybe the third or fourth DL start coming off on Day 2 and that is good for us:

Will share a list just briefly...no depth scouting has been done yet by me so won't be lengthy - but familiarize with these guys for sure:

Kayden McDonald | Ohio State 6'3' 326LBS - Kayden played a decent amount last year but really grew as a player this year becoming one of the most dominate forces in the interior of a defense. His run defense rating per PFF is the best of all DLs out of all 170 schools PFF tracks...does offer some interior pressure creation even on passing downs, but I think in the NFL he isn't a guy you purposefully use on for sure passing downs, but first two downs his value would be awesome out the gate as a rookie.

Caleb Banks | Florida 6'6' 330LBS - Consensus is he is a top 5 DL in this class...however he's only seen three games this season, but fifth year guy so wonder if he asks for sixth year or if not likely a Day2 big guy that will hope to test well, interview well and excel at workouts to confirm he is what a lot of folks see.

A'Mauri Washington | Oregon 6'3' 330LBS - a ball of energy and effort in a big package. I think if he closes out the year well we see him declare and if so he will for sure be a top 10 drafted DL if not Top5. Creates interior pressure at a solid clip, plays the run and handles double teams quite well it seems.

Christen Miller | Georgia - 6'4' 310LBS - Would offer the pedigree we love to dip into for sure, and to be fair Miller has been awesome this season AND last season. One of the best interior run defenders in the league, but also creates a high interior pressure clip that is impressive and to me could translate to being that guy at the next level that you prioritize first two downs, but can and will embrace him out there on for sure passing downs. I really like Christen in the early stages and his film is one I really look forward to.

Domonique Orange | Iowa State 6'4' 325LBS - NT#1 for many - his alignment he's dominated in for years is right there in the middle. After a dominating 2023 and 2024, he is still solid but slightly down year in 2025 comparatively but still awesome.

Cole Brevard | Texas 6'3' 346 - Good buddy of mine LOVES Brevard and said Green Bay needs to add this young man. Started at PSU, then three years at Purdue and switched to Texas after an impressive 2024 at Purdue. Has shined at Texas despite the massive growth in opponent levels. What he did to the line at Ohio State, Kentucky, Miss State and Georgia this year was impressive.

Darrell Jackson | Florida State 6'5' 337 - Jackson was on my radar last year as a Day3 and now solidly might be a Day2 for sure. When he is good, there are few better...but consistency seems to be the early critique of many. His film will tell the story I'm sure.

Dontay Corleone | Cincinnati 6'1' 335LBS - One of the best if not best DL across the league clear back to 2022 (literally). He dealt with some blood clot issues in the off season and started slow this year but down the stretch has gotten back to his wrecking ways. In the past he had a lot more pressures and sacks, but some in his camp have told me it's the snaps being less this year (just not in shape like he wants due to medical issues). AS he progresses with his medical side of things and gets back to his normal self I truly think he has Day1 potential but will likely slip to Day2. Everyone knows I've had him circled as a guy I LOVE ever since last year's draft process scouting...

Mateen Ibirogba | Wake Forest 6'3' 296LBS - Absolutely DOMINATED at Georgetown (2022/2023) came to Wake and barely played last year but this year dude has been AWESOME and got back to his normal ways for the 8-4 Deacons.

Bear Alexander | Oregon 6'3' 302LBS - Georgia in 2022...USC in 2023 and 2024....finally this year at Oregon. I don't quite understand the hopping around but this final season has seemingly clicked for him. He looked great at Georgia and struggled at USC...this year we got the Georgia version of him and that is for sure going to get him drafted...where is too early to tell. Most say he's a Day3.

@Heyjoe4 @Pokerbrat2000 any additional communications about 2026 draft let's switch to here. My fault for throwing it on wrong thread.

Okay in a similar vein let me provide what many believe are the consensus top CBs....now I preface this again with saying this isn't an in depth look but brief list of guys on MOST people's outside corner radar for the first three or four rounds. There is ALWAYS some Day3 guys that show up in the NFL and clearly can hang...but this is not attempting to do that.

Now to be fair I fully expect Mansoor Delane LSU | Jermod McCoy Tenn | Avieon Terrell Clemson all to for sure be gone. Few of the below likely gone as well for us to realistically have a shot but could happen...some might decide not to declare too:

Davison Igbinosun | Ohio State 6'2" 195LBS - This man tops my personal list of guys I've went deep enough of to actually have some substantitive stance on him. Right now strong likelihood he would be near the top of CBs that Gute could have available at our second round pick and that I think could instantly stabilize a position room in flux. Played for Ole Miss in 2022 but then transferred to Ohio State and has been excellent for them all three years there and is a MASSIVE defensive reason that team is undefeated right now. It is just rare he makes mistakes and has incredible length and abilty to mirror. Personally I love his film and while many right now are saying he is there day 2....don't be shocked if this dude flies up the charts and is one that come the draft many like me view him as a Top 50 and likely Day1 guy. Left him here because right now most rankings have him in that 50-85 range at the highest.

Julian Neal | Arkansas - Shared already on him at this POST HERE

Colton Hood | Tennessee 6'0" 195LBS - This dude has bounced from Auburn (2023) to Colorado last year and this year is at Tennessee. He's faired very well against some big time match ups but did struggle against Alabama and Arkansas. He is a willing tackler.

Brandon Cisse | South Carolina 6'0" 190LBS - Two years and NC State and last year was one of the best, he's continued to be very solid in 2025 with the Gamecocks. Abysmal game against A&M this year, but dominated Ole Miss matchups and awesome against he likes of Clemson, Bama, Okla and others.

Keith Abney | Arizona St 6'0" 190LBS - *This is one of the guys I currently have circled as a real option for GB to target. Hope to look deep into his film study. He has been good all years at ASU but this year he is literally one of the highest coveraged graded outside corners and tackling CBs as well. He can play either side and footwork on the surface looks like it is special.

AJ Harris | Penn State 6'1" 186 LBS - Harris balled out at Penn State last year, struggling this year comparatively. IF he declares he really could be a value guy that might fall into the third round for us and scouting department will be tasked with figuring out is he more the 2024 version or the 2025 version.

Chris Johnson | San Diego State 6'0" 195LBS - *Number two of my favorites on this list that I think could be a gem. He's been at SDST his whole FBS history and I'm waiting to see if he declares or if he maybe transfers to a big school to gamble on himself. He's flat out balled out in coverage three years with 2025 being next level special.

Malik Muhammad | Texas 6'0" 188LBS - I think he should go back, not because I don't think he is good, but because I think he could be great and push into that Day1 discussion potentially.

Devin Moore | Florida 6'3" 198LBS - *Another favorite of mine...A big CB who has been phenomenal for the Gators over the years is Devin Moore. Comfortable on both sides and short range quickness and speed is there for a guy his size to really be a challenge for all receiver types.

LOTS more....like Chandler Rivers, Dayen Everette, DJ McKinney and others to review and study.

He likely washes out as one of those guys for sure done by the early third round or as early as late first if all my scouting friends are right. I haven’t tore into nearly the amount of film as many in my circle yet. Dang life

I heard the meetings are good and the coffee provided is excellent.....but wouldn't know, they always meet right during my deep dives into prospects.

Reminds me of a great series called "Loudermilk". A good watch if you haven't seen it.

So I gotta share brief write up of a guy I've done somewhat of a deep dive on after watching him catching my eye in their game against BYU and especially since he's an interior defender who is STOUT against the run.

Lee Hunter iDL | Texas Tech (by way of UCF) | 6'4' 330lbs
This young man has been on scouts radars even prior to this year, after two incredible sophomore and junior seasons for UCF where he amassed 20.5 TFLs, 4 sacks and 114 tackles as an interior defender.

This year for the Red Raiders he has been a LARGE part of why their in the CFP hunt for a natty. Asked to do more A gap reps than he had in 2024, he has shown a real abilty to fill essentially any responsibility from over tackle clear into A Gap. His PFF run defense grade is 84.2, barely misses tackles when he touches the ball carrier and has an incredible interior win rate of 11% on pass rush reps.

I personally think he's going to be hard pressed to nab outside Day2...so it could be a fools errand even writing about him (given our number of picks) - but bigguns have those years where it takes a long time for that 3rd-8th prospects to go...which is where I believe he will wash out on my board of iDL and likely many others. If he is outside a guy's Top15 iDLs I don't think they're trying hard to actually scout.

Let's tackle one of the guys' I have circled as that "potential steal" type. That guy that has at times shown elite level performances but has seemingly been sporadic just enough to suffer and have the issue of injuries to a degree derailing his final year in college....

I spoke about this guy early in the 2025 Draft Prospect thread:

I'm going to jinx us further into not likely drafting a single CB and discuss another one of my favorites:

Tacario Davis - Arizona - 6'4' 195lbs (Junior)

So Tacario is a dude that caught my eye when I was watching Arizona tape (focused on Morgan) last year but didn't want to share any future draft thoughts then. I had Tacario on my early favorite 10 CBs list for this year's draft. There is a chance he could decide to not declare and circle back, but I STRONGLY think Davis is going to play and likely test his way into a Top 50 pick this year and will declare. With the likes of Benjamin Morrison and Shavon Revel both getting hurt the CB2 slot after current CB1 (Will Johnson) is to some up for grabs potentially (me personally those are my top 3 regardless of injury)....but Davis is one of the guys mentioned fighting to be considered.

He is a slighter built guy but that 6'4' frame weighs more than it looks at 195lbs.

His instincts and reads are elite level, BUT his best reps always come in zone snaps - if he can build his man coverage grades the second half of the college season and illustrate improvement perhaps at the Senior Bowl against elite WRs - Davis for sure could be a guy that hears GB call his name in the 1st or 2nd.

Put on his reps/film from last year against Washington and UCLA for some of his best work.

Tacario went back to school after a rougher 2024 season, the year he was to cement his Top 50 no doubt status and fight for likely being one of the first CBs off the board...that due to his 2023 season where this young man SHUT DOWN everyone he saw almost routinely except for a rough game against Oregon State. His footwork was and still his incredible for a guy his size...but man coverage while surely embraces, his cleanest and best reps come from zone calls where he can use his instincts, size and athleticism to close lanes and bait QBs even.

Even though 2024 wasn't the year he wanted, he didn't give up a TD last year - he's a very tough Red Zone corner to target given he's 6'4' and there is likely less than five WRs he'll face in the NFL he cannot jump with....this year he was scored on just one time....so five touchdowns against over a three year period with four of those actually coming in his best season 2023.

This year he had a solid year but it was marred with injury after suffering a rib issue and then a hamstring - injuries had never been an issue at Arizona (2022-2024) and those types of injuries happen, especially for a bigger framed physical CB. Which speaking of which the one shining aspect of his game is tackling. He is one of the better tackling CB prospects likely over the last few years IMO....not a violent hitter but a guy that uses his incredible length to his advantage and wraps up more often than not.

He put on 5 pounds from 2024 which is a good thing as at 6'4' his long leaner frame could hold it for sure.

Is he a blazer speed CB? No...I suspect his top speed at testing will be 4.44 or so but so long as he breaks 4.5 that should be impressive for a guy with incredibly long strides that can match most receivers.

He's a guy I think will have very mixed opinions and won't be shocked if there are some pundits out there rocking a second round grade on him while others are in the fourth round or so. Personally, I love the young man and think in the right system he could be special....and there is always space for a willing tackler in my defense for sure.

Nice break down on Tacario, thanks.

While I am not opposed to drafting someone like him and I think Gute will need to address the DL in the draft, I fully expect him to go after a top DL player in free agency. The DL needs immediate help and getting Wyatt back healthy is on one phase of it.

Who will be available in Free Agency? Too soon to really know. Guys get cut, resigned, traded, etc.

To be honest that is one reason (go DL and even Edge if Gary is gone first)...that means likely 3rd, 4th or 5th is when the first CB comes off the board. Depending on how the board of prospects is falling, I could fully see Gute saying we don't have a premium pick for a more surefire thing at outside CB...let's grab two maybe on Day3 early that have immense outside experience and see what happens.

That's where Tacario could really be a guy to target because there is a chance he's there in the third....now I he is a lot like Nohl Williams IMO from a what could happen perspective. I think really watching the film from this year and 2023 will likely encourage teams to bypass 2024 as an anomoly year. He also I expect will test VERY good and could see a senior bowl type event if he can get in it or even the East/West Shrine Bowl really helping him show in 1v1s what he can do and rise up all the "boards" out there to most outsiders...but he's already on any serious scouting teams list of preferred CBs, just matters how high.

In looking at the 2026 draft, one sidenote concerning the Packers draft fate. Out of the 14 teams in the playoffs, the Packers have the 2nd worst record, with only The Panthers, being "worse". What does that mean in regards to the draft? If the Packers are eliminated on Sat. they will either get the 19th spot in Rounds 1-7 or the 20th (if Panthers lose too).

Personally, I will be just fine with the Cowboys getting our #32 pick and being situated with the 32nd pick in the rest of the rounds.

I'd be HIGHLY interested in grabbing Kaden Wetjen (the return specialist/WR) from Iowa in the 6th or 7th to give us some potential pop on returns.

UDFA priority for me. Provides literally nothing else except that position. I do love watching him on those few plays a game.

Everyone knows I RARELY have ever said or defended the concept of taking a RB Day1 (this doesn't mean I don't have RBs ranked in my top 32 but that I don't believe it is wise use of picks Day 1)....that said enter Jeremiyah Love of Notre Dame.

Look...this young man is just NASTY in every good sense of the word. Last year he finally got the reigns of being the lead back (in a LOADED backfield) and despite not getting as many carries as many leaders dude compiled 1,125 yards on the ground on just 163 attempts (6.9 ypc) and 237 yards receiving on just 28 receptions (8.5ypr). 19 total TDs.

Remember in 2024 ND offense Riley Leonard led the team in rushing attempts with 184 and Jadarian Price got 120 rushing attempts...if Love had truly been a typical bell cow, he easily eclipses 2,000 yards and IMO is likely the concensus best RB over Ashton (who got 374 attempts) because unlike Jeanty Love is a true threat in the passing game and not just a ditch and dump option.

This young man to me is NOT something Green Bay should target UNLESS we yet again are sitting at the end of Day1 AND Lloyd hasn't been able to stay healthy or shows he isn't ready to be a compliment to Jacobs. I cannot fathom the tandem of Jacobs and Love with Wilson in the third spot just making MLF drooling over his options.

Jeremiyah Love...likely in my Top15 and a RB I fully will understand and advocate for a team to use a Day1 pick on depending on their team's structure and situation.
As a ND fan, Love is tremendous, though I don’t think he’ll be there when we pick in the 2nd round. His tape against Penn State in the Orange Bowl was a thing of beauty

He'll be long gone - this thread however isn't just GB specific prospect targets (that's for another discussion). Given our roster structure we shouldn't be picking up a RB until mid to late day 3 at the earliest. Now if we decide to part ways with Jacobs, I'd support it being an elevated need but I don't see that happening.

Jaishawn Barham 6'3" 243lbs - the prospect I cannot shake...

Barham is crazy unique prospect who has put up incredible seasons (2022, 2023 and 2024) as an off ball linebacker - first two at Maryland and 2024 at Michigan. then this past season Michigan decides he's going to play the edge and did so quite well. That versatility is something I love to see, but also the fact that he's continually got better every year in college regardless of where he is against the run.

Per PFF we are talking about a guy that over the last three years has seen 479 snaps outside tackle and 1000 snaps off ball...you're not going to find that mix in many prospects.

With most folks seeing him as that 90-140 rank overall prospect he could fill in some serious depth wherever we would want him to....but mixing him in with diverse players like Parsons, Cooper, Oliver could be extremely fun and frustrating for offenses to figure out where and who is coming...

Deep dive on film for him and a few other Michigan players starting soon.

tyni,

I actually like Jimmy Rolder better and a likely late day 3 pick for us. 6'2 240 and they moved Barham outside to get Rolder into the lineup this year.

I have to stress...I in no way shape or form think GB needs to target a WR - even with the loss of Doubs likely and the already departure of Malik Heath last season. BUT of course Day 3 is always worth ignoring position at times and just drafting a guy you like and think might be that next Doubs or Wicks type guy. Also I will add with what Golden showcased and how much the team clearly liked getting Savion the ball in his hands - and our limited number of picks, I truly think Wicks or Reed may just be a trade candidate in order to bolster Gute's ability to build this team for the present and future better in the draft (wouldn't be shocked).

That said here are a few WRs that I have around or just outside of my top 100 likely that IF there on Day 3 may be an attractive piece to add:

Bryce Lance 6'3" 209lbs - South Dakota State
A tall and long target that proved to be an incredible deep threat for the Bison over the last two years. Very experienced on STs as that was his role for two years only catching one ball in 2022/2023 seasons. 2024 he finally got his chance and BURST onto the scene putting up 1,069 yards on 75 catches (14.3 ypc) and SEVENTEEN touchdowns. Massive redzone threat and a guy who uses his frame like a Forward going up for a rebound. This past season he put up 1,079 yards on just 51 receptions (21.2 ypc) and 8 TDs. A crafty route runner who like all Bison WRs seeks out blocking assignments...I am not exxagerating that he is the slower version of his Bison counterpart Christian Watson. That lack of speed (likely runs in the 4.5s) is why he isn't going to garner higher than a 3rd round consideration likely but to grab an excellent WR with a similar abilty to Doubs to somehow slip past defenders with his route ability and has sure hands AND excellent blocker....I can think of far worse types of guys to bring in and let grow.

Malachi Fields 6'4" 222lbs - Notre Dame by way of Virginia
Like Lance above, chance he slips into the third but truthfully 4th is where I see him likely winding up UNLESS he shocks people with testing. Being a ND fan I saw what his massive catch radius can do for a QB and envision him being that excellent WR3 or 4 on an NFL roster for sure, possibly out the gate even. 5th year guy that has three years of starting outside experience (2 at VA and 1 at ND). In those years essentially averaged 14.3 yards per catch | 750 ayrds average a season and 5 TDs every year. Fields isn't going to stand out if all you do is watch the stat lines of a WR, but again run based offense that relied on Fields to routinely make big plays when called on though - which not every WR can do (block, block, block, decoy and then catch a 3rd and 11 ball over the middle thrown high...).

Brenen Thompson 5'9" 170lbs - Mississippi State by way of Oklahoma (and Texas)
Thompson was only lightly used in Oklahoma for two years, transfered to MissSt and became one of their primary weapons right out the gate - amassing 1,054 yards on 57 receptions (18.5ypr) and 6 TDs receiving with one rushing TD. A guy that rarely lined up in the slot, but expected to do so in the pros - and likley is rumored to go 4.35 forty speed give or take - and is called the fastest man in college football by many. I see Thompson as a guy to target IF Gute/Co know Reed isn't going to be in the future plans or might be traded. IF that is the case, grab another shorter, shifty lethal weapon that can cross the field without fear like Reed, but also just as deadly aligned outside. For a small shifty speed demon, he has great long ball concentration, adjusts to the ball in midflight well and if he gets the ball in his hands with more than a foot of spacing, he will find the house.

Will share more later...that's it for now.
