Brandon Cisse.... 1 for 1 in the Amish Mock... I said earlier that I felt if we stood pat at #52, I felt he was the guy.
Nice! McCoy's knee must be worse than previously thought so Cisse makes sense. Great run support, solid defender with 4.4 speed & long arms.

Here it comes

He sucks

I didn’t have him here

Gute nailed it

Why the hell they do that
No. I do not believe I know more than Gute.
IMO, which I am pretty sure I am entitled to.
He doesn't suck.
I didn't want him here.
Gute didn't nail it.
They did it because they needed to improve the CB room.
IMO.

From a lot of angles, the pick makes sense. He's an elite athlete, only 20 years old and a position of need. He's very raw so I don't think he'll be a starter in year one but who knows. The only unfortunate thing is his name is pronounced as sissy. Not exactly scary.

Packers like that youth in the 1st, when I saw he was only 20 yrs old, he was in my crosshairs
Yea that's a always a bonus. I'm liking the pick, with all things considered. Valentine and Nixon both up for contracts soon. Such a premium on the position in the league. Hardly anyone behind them on our depth chart. That's a recipe for disaster. Literal disaster.

We needed Hobbs. His knee must've been worse off than originally believed.

With our history at the position he will get PT one way or another.

We might double dip on corners. Some good ones still out there.

I think most would agree CB was a
Top 3 need. Here we got a consensus Top #45 CB on a value deal.
Brandon Cisse snd Benjamin St Juste drafted at #52 and #74 respectively. Nobody can say we ignored CB this season. At minimum we’re good depth and you can’t have enough good Corners imo. Keep in mind that both boundary starters from last season are in contract years.

I want a big strong fast CB.... Someone who can cover the TEs. There's more and more 6'4"+ 245+ with 40+" vert receivers out there to be fielding a 5'10, 190 CB. I know that's where the speed and change of direction is. But. ...
Gute may still sign a veteran come September. Experience may help in a transition year.
That's what I'm thinking. We add a #1cb quality veteran. along with young cicci here. My concern would turn to confidence.

I like this pick. Gluten took Hargrave to bolster the iDL. Just makes sense to take the best CB here and that is Cisse. Good pick and a good call D.

Honestly, the guy being 20. He is still growing. I'm low key loving the pick.

But you know me. Every year I want some gigantic bowling ball defensive lineman for our first pick. And every year I'm disappointed. Lol.

Wonder how Wyatt is healing up?

Wyatt had surgery and claimed 3-5 months earlier this year. I haven’t heard any news recently, but that would put him back at Camp already.

While it’s not quite as thick as last year at iDL in RD3-5, there are a number of guys that imo would offer better upside than Wooden switching positions. Even Wooden made a comment after the trade that he felt he wasn’t in his best position in 2025. I don’t think that’s some big secret.
