Waits for the first big game of his career. Decides he's better than best RB in the league. I think you should pick that mic back up, tbh.

Really?
I thought he was just being an awesome Ty Montgomery.
I didn't know we got LaVeon Bell.
Ted got a fever? He feeling OK?

I dunno. Why can't we just accept guys who they are instead of making comparisons to others.

In any case, looks like we have a running back. For now, at least.

And it's not even a comparison that makes sense. Bell gets 15-20 carries a game. I've certainly been wrong before, but I can't imagine Ty ever being a 15-20 carries a game kind of back.

I didn't prior to today's game (envision more carries), but you know what, he made me think different today. I'm liking the 1-2 punch of him and Michaels.

So Ty only got 16 carries this week for 162 yards, he runs too high and he was a WR. If only we had a real RB like Walter Payton or Ahman Green .

16 carries. But yeah, great game. However, it irks me when people use one game (especially a game where a player set career bests in like every category) as justification for anything.

Great game, Ty!

Beware small sample sizes, all!

would love to see lacy and mont together. just imagine the threat?

Me too! Except with someone else instead of Eddie :D

Today being a fluke, then?

I dunno. I am leaning towards yes, but who knows. To me, he seems like more of a change-of-pace or split carries back, not a bell cow.

Overarching point is that he set a career high in carries today with 16. That doesn't mean that now he's going to be a 15-20 carries/game type of back, and it doesn't make him the best back in the league after 1 great game.

Not one game. The sample size is growing and getting better every week. His average per carry has been over 5 yards all season.

For the season Ty now has 60 carries for 390 yards and 6.5 YPC.

Yes, I considered that also. He does have an impressive start so far. Several online sites are incorrect showing just 228 rushing yards but he has more than that in the previous 3 games.

I was impressed with how hard he ran after contact. May not be able to hold up over an entire season, maybe he can, but he is one tough dude out there.
