I don't post here often but I looked for this type of list for a while and could find nothing. Eventually I found a starting point of a few names and I've ran with it from there, adding new names and pro days and adding as many sources as I could find. I figured since I browse this forum and I know it's pretty active for the draft that I would throw this info up here. If you have any new information or sources I don't have listed, please post them and I'll try and add information as it gets released. Also, this is a work in progress of sorts. So it's kind of a mess right now. I'll get it sorted more as I have time. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Senior All-Star Game Interest: Joseph Barksdale - OT - LSU Source Chris Hairston - OT - Clemson Source Jock Sanders - WR - WVU Source Cheta Ozougwu – OLB – Rice Source Colin Kaepernick – QB – Nevada Ryan Jones - CB - Northwest Missouri State Source Combine Interviews/Interest: Sione Fua - DL - Stanford Source Torrey Smith - WR - Maryland Source Virgil Green - TE - Nevada Source Zach Hurd - OG - UConn Orlando Franklin - OG - The U Jamel Hamler - WR - Fresno State Source Jerrod Johnson - QB - Texas A&M Matt Asiata - RB - Utah Niles Paul - WR - Nebraska D'Aundre Reed - OLB - Arizona Source Ricky Elmore -OLB - Arizona Cedric Thornton - DL - Southern Arkansas Source Anthony Allen - RB - Georgia Tech Source Source Shaun Chapas - FB - Georgia Source Edmund Gates - WR - Abilene Christian Source Taiwan Jones - RB - Eastern Washington Source Jerrel Jernigan - WR - Troy Source Johnny Patrick - CB - Louisville Source Justin Houston - DE/OLB - Georgia Josh Portis - QB - California (PA) Source Mark LeGree - FS - App. State (Informal) Chris Carter - DE/OLB - Fresno St. (W/ Kevin Greene) Source Dwayne Harris - WR - ECU Source Akeem Ayers - OLB - UCLA Source Leonard Hankerson - WR - Miami' Muhammad Wilkerson - DL - Temple Source Known Pro Day Interest: Boise State Source(Jon-Eric Sullivan was the attending scout) Titus Young WR Austin Pettis WR Jeron Johnson S Ryan Winterswyk DE Utah State Source Curtis Marsh CB South Florida Source Terrell McClain DE/DT San Diego State Source Vincent Brown WR Villanova Source Ben Iljana OG Miami Source (Eliot Wolf was the attending scout) Leonard Hankerson WR Troy Source Jerrel Jernigan WR Abilene Christian Source Edmund Gates WR North Dakota Source Ty Boyle DL Ross Cochran OLB Iowa Source Christian Ballard DE Adrian Clayborn DE Julian Vandervelde OL Ricky Stanzi QB Northern Colorado Source Andre Harris RB UL-Lafayette Source (Attending scout was Alonzo Highsmith) Maurice Rolle Jr. S Jonathan Decoster OL Montana State Source Michael Person OL New Mexico State Source Davon House CB Lehigh/Slippery Rock Source (John Dorsey was the attending scout) Will Rackley OL (LeHigh) Brandon Fusco OL (Slippery Rock) Colorado School of Mines Source Marc Schiechl OLB (They attended the CO S of Mines Pro Day and his workout at Air Force) Western Michigan Source Juan Nunez WR Hampton Source Kenrick Ellis DL Georgia Source Justin Houston OLB West Texas AM Source (Alonzo Highsmith was the attending scout) Stephen Burton WR Wisconsin Source (McCarthy and Thompson) Scott Tolzien QB (Met with MM) JJ Watt DE Arizona Source Source Brooks Reed OLB Nic Grisby RB (? Well, now that we have it narrowed down......JK. Nice job. It does appear that there was a bit of an emphasis on offense (WR/RB) at the combine, which is just an observation and means absolutely nothing....or does it???? Sometimes I wish I was more of a basketball fan so I wouldn't drive myself so nuts this time of year.
Lol, yeah. It's a lot of guys. I'm just going by what Scout said in terms of who they watched. I got a few more I'll add tonight or tomorrow. I think the thing to watch more so is who they talked to at the Combine or for example the Colorado School of Mines kid that they went to see twice. People they have looked at/talked to twice. I believe it's Hamler, the School of Mines kid, and uhh Dwayne Harris seem to be the guys they've gone for multiple looks at. Ted was at the UCLA pro day today, I assume to watch Akeem Ayers who ran a 4.69 40 which was a lot better than his 4.83
Great Job mate, have to agree with PackersRS, looks like they are covering potential FA loss. Looking like the first 3 rounds could be DE, OLB and WR.. in any order.
For what it's worth. The people TT has interviewed or looked at heavily in the past haven't ended up on the Packers squad all that much. Raji was looked at and interviewed a lot. We supposedly looked at Clay 3 times. But the rest of the guys were all UDFA or late picks that made it here. 2009:B.J. Raji, Jamarko Simmons, Clay Matthews III, T.J. Lang, Jamon Meredith, Cyril Obiozor 2010: Josh Gordy, Nick McDonald, Antonio Robinson, Anthony Levine
Okay, I respect you for adding sources and switching it around a bit. Copy and Paste isn't a lot of work Again, he took it all from here: http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=437960
The site he is quoting is open and not copyright protected, so I see no problem if he copy/pastes. That list is available on probably 50+ sites on the internet.
There is nothing wrong with copy/paste, just say that you are copying and don't make it seem like you did all the work. Could you also please list the 50+ sites. Thanks
Easy answers: A. The Author here listed his sources the author at FF did not... who is more credible ? B. 50 would be a low number. There are dozens of draft sites all over. NFP has been listing work outs daily. C. You violated the terms of use at FF by linking another forum so I would lose the righteous attitude. D. Terms of use at FF states that all posts are owned by FF NOT the author.... LIXX AKA Shot of Ginn has no claim to that post or anything else on that site. If ShotofGinn wants to protect his stuff then post it on your blog not on a Privately owned forum.
Too bad it HAS been on my blog: Career Backup: Who might the Packers draft? Oh look, mine was done 3/9 and yours was done 3/28. Whoops, theory foiled.
No reason to resort to name calling. And Shot of Gin, unless you have any proof he stole it from you or any other, it's just unfound accusation. For all I know, he personally put together that list. It is different, at least in format, to yours'. Plus, the sourcing on each prospect is a great job.
The sources on FF are scattered through out the 30 page thread. There are way to many similarities and identical forms of typing (Newhouse + Scout) and the same order (non alphabetical) on the list of pro day visits. Plagiarism at it's finest right here folks.
Just because it's on the internet does NOT mean it's free to take and steal. I see some of you have never taken a college English class that states exactly what plagiarism is. Just cause you changed the wording of part of it, does not make it not plagiarism.
plagiarisma piece of writing that has been copied from someone else and is presented as being your own workthe act of plagiarizing; taking someone's words or ideas as if they were your ownSo, by putting sources for the information, he was doing it right even though he changed some of it and compiled the list as he saw fit. And as far as I can tell, he took nothing from your blog.
So it can be read by anyone? My god, that means you can take any information and pass it as your own -- right Wizard 87? Word for Word? Straight from my blog/FF? I don't charge fee's to go to my blog, so that means you can just steal it? That's plagiarism folks, sorry you guys didn't go to college. You took my information, and passed it off as your own.
Reading over that quote Wizard 87 -- you're clueless. All that is saying is that you don't want to disclose personal information because anybody can view the site, and any consequences (i.e. identity theft) is not the responsibility of the site, owners, admins, and moderators. The second part states that they can take away your privileges at any point in time, with out reason at their sole discretion. Are you really that clueless? Where in there does it say, "If you post anything on this forum, it can be stolen without consequence by anyone else and passed off as their own work."?
