Well **** there goes the only good defensive coach we got.
He was the only one out there fireing up the players.
He will be best remembered for telling Clay "It is Time" right before Clay forced a fumble in the super bowl.
This was a decision that was a while coming. There is more to it than what was offered.
I get that sense too. Doesn't jive that all of a sudden he needs to spend more time with his family. Aaron Nagler alluded to the potential real reason being similar to what politicians mean when they say they need to spend more time with their family. Hopefully not.

Please explain or expand what you're saying here. You are posting as if you know for certain it is more than Greene just wanting out of coaching. Are you hinting Capers may be next? Also what input did Greene have regarding free agency? Not doubting you on either just looking for more information.Kevins influence went beyond just the game itself, he had a pretty big influence on his personnel. From the draft to FA he made some smart opinions known.

Of course there could be more than meets the eye, but Greene is (or should be) a millionaire many times over and I don't blame him if he doesn't want to devote 12 or 14 hours per day working for not much money (considering his net worth). Honestly in his shoes I think I'd be inclined to do charity work.
