That we have an EXCELLENT shot at getting into the playoffs this year. We MUST beat the Pooh Bears. I'm so giddy right now.....but it's gonna be tough.

Not sure how we can get in. Looking at it now. We don't have much of a chance at all.

Giants have tie breaker over us, apparently. Since the Eagles beat the Packers, they would probably have the edge over us as well seeing as their nfc and division records would be the same if they lost the two remaining games.

The eagles will win against the Falcons, if not the Cowboys as well. That's the two wild card spots.

We have a decent shot of making the playoffs but our chances took a major hit when the Rams beat Washington in OT, if that hadn't happened I believe we would have only needed to win and have the Giants lose, now the Rams also need to lose
if the rams win the packers would need the panthers or falcons to win and rams would be out.

This last one doesn't make sense:
Case 5
Packers beat the Bears, and
Giants beat the Redskins, and
Eagles beat the Falcons, and
Saints beat the Panthers, and
Rams beat the Vikings

Does that make sense to anyone?

I kind of think it's cool that after a 1-4 start to the season we are now talking about possibly being in the playoffs.

I would have thought at 5-8... we would be talking about the packers even have a shot at the playoff....

Is it true they may change next weeks game time to 8:30 sunday night.... It would be nice if that happen because the packers could be facing a win and your in situation (simliar a few years ago when the packers played the jets)

These 2 cases make no sense at all because it's saying the packers have tiebreakers over the giants and they don't?

I'm getting corn-fused!! :)

I'll just have to hope the packers win, and let the NFL do the rest... At least we're not on a BCS computer system. LOL

I don't disagree. I just think it's cool we have a shot considering many Packer fans didn't even see this team winning 3 games.

No. It's just really up to date.

Cowboys play Eagles tomorrow night.

It's just stating the Eagles need to lose the remaining two games. It says 'case 1' not 'week 17' :p

Why don't they?
strength of victory and giants own that over the packers

strength of victory wouldn't come before conference/division record.
division record has nothing to do with tiebreakers for the wildcard. and the giants and packers would be tied for their conference record. it then goes to common games and they are tied there at 1-4, so it goes to strength of victory....
if the giants win, pack are out.
