So, there's a good possibility that Rodgers will not be playing this Sunday (McCarthy may decide to give him a week or more to make sure he's 100%). How do you all think Flynn will measure up against the Falcons? I haven't watched any of his college career, but he did look impressive in the pre-season games (more composed that Brohm, anyhow).

No doubt. LSU had a better O-line than the one he may work behind this Sunday.

It will be difficult to get a read. The Falcons had an awesome first game as I recall, they did lose by a wider margin against the same Bucs team we just played.

Offensively Green Bay should have some good matchups, particularly with the receiving corp, but if Rodgers doesn't start, Flynn could be in trouble if he doesn't click early with the receivers. However, Atlanta isn't the best at stopping the run, so maybe Grant and Jackson can take some pressure off Flynn early.

Defensively, Green bay could be vulnerable on defense, Atlanta blew up in the running game in the first week, but hasn't duplicated it, and the packers did let a lot of yardage to Dallas in week 3. If they can stay stout, they may have a chance in defending the falcons receivers, maybe force some turnovers.

Ultimately though, this game will probably come down to who protects the ball better. Which team runs the ball effectively, avoids turn overs, and which one does not. I'd still give a slight edge to green bay even though with a fresh QB in that might not be in our favor.

Yep! There's the article. Keeping my fingers crossed as well. A victory here (if Aaron is indeed 100%) would really be good for his confidence level (as well the team's and fans' faith in him) after coming off of a loss (Dallas) and a REAL bad loss (Tampa)...luckily the Falcons don't present as much of a danger as the Cowboys or the Bucs...so if Rodgers is back (and stays protected for God's sakes...) this SHOULD be a V

According to the Packer's official site, there is no major structural damage to Aaron Rodger's arm. Whether or not he plays on Sunday is now up to how he feels during and after Wednesday's practice. Here's hoping he can continue the Pack's trend of playing through the pain!
