Cody Pickett of 49ers got his first (and possibly last) start in the NFL. The 49ers decided to take a chance on him. How did he repay them?

1/13 passing for 28 yards and 1 int.

I never knew anyone could do so bad.

he's not good...but the wind in Chicago yesterday basicly killed the passing game for both teams.

not to say either team has a passing game. :)

Yeah I heard it was something like 40 mph. Regardless, you would expect something more. Glad we have #4 back there, love to see him defy the laws of physics and make throws into and aginst the wind. I remember the Jacksonville game last year, Brett had a pass that just made me wonder how on earth he did it. Into the wind, Brett had Ferggy on the sidelines, and threw the pass behind and a little over Ferrgy's head. The ball literally made a right angle when it got near Ferrgy, and straight into his hands. Man that was a sweet play. now I wana see Manning do that!

To be honest, you can't blame pickett. He only threw the ball twice in the first half. The niners coaches wouldn't let him throw the ball, until the end when they had no choice. I don't think the coaches gave him a legitimate chance to prove himself.
