Another article to keep us pacified in the off-season, but a good read, especially about some of the older teams. Being a Packers forum, I should point out that the 1996 team was ranked #16 overall and the 2011 team was #4. The 1998 Vikings ranked #7.

During one three-week stretch of the 2011 season, Aaron Rodgers threw 11 touchdowns, zero interceptions and just 18 incomplete passes in 86 attempts.
Four of the incomplete passes were drops, and one was a spike to stop the clock. So really, Rodgers went almost a month in which he was as likely to throw a touchdown pass as he was to throw an even slightly off-target pass.

That 2011 Packer team was fun to watch. They completed a 19 game winning streak, second longest in the history of the league. Finished 15-1, and put up a ton of points. They were the defending champs, and GB seemed to be the best team in the league for about a year there.

Ultimately, of course, the season was a disappointment, because they were the #1 seed in the NFC, yet failed to win a single playoff game, losing in Lambeau to the Giants. I don't know if anyone expected them to win the Super Bowl anyway though, because the defense was so leaky all season. Still, a very fun season. After they had won the 2010 Super Bowl, I was determined to enjoy every day of it until they were dethroned, and so I did. That offense made it easy.
