Jun 6, 2016 at 7:46 AM - Poppa San: Sure. I have to reactivate one of my yahoo accounts.
Jun 6, 2016 at 8:17 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: What's your email? Or you can inbox me
Jun 6, 2016 at 10:52 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I will never understand you people's love of Janis....
Jun 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM - Vltrophy: I don't love the guy but he's one of the fastest guys on the team. He learns the routes & he can be a nice threat after Nelson & Cobb
Jun 6, 2016 at 1:10 PM - Vltrophy: McCarthy called changes in the offense "Big Pictures." I don't think they'll be using cards like some coaches but we shall see
Jun 6, 2016 at 2:27 PM - Green and Gold: Maybe changing up some of the plays.
Jun 6, 2016 at 2:28 PM - Green and Gold: More no-huddle. I hope.
Jun 6, 2016 at 2:31 PM - The program 61: watching the favre fathers game against oakland un real the difference in broadcast
Jun 6, 2016 at 2:55 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Who does this board love more than Jeff Janis? I'm curious....

Jun 7, 2016 at 7:19 AM - SeahawkFan80: Lockett.....
Jun 7, 2016 at 9:33 AM - The program 61: i love Clinton-Dix
Jun 7, 2016 at 9:33 AM - The program 61: haha
Jun 7, 2016 at 4:00 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I'm wondering if Talib's career is over with that gun shot wound to the leg, and now they're looking into whether or not he did it to himself accidentally
Jun 7, 2016 at 4:02 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: If his career is over, Broncos D isn't quite as attractive in Fantasy, who's backing him up? Can't be nearly as good and teams will look that way to throw the ball.
Jun 7, 2016 at 4:11 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Plus Aquib could work on an island, pretty sure they'll have to move Safety help over for whoever comes in.
Jun 7, 2016 at 4:13 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: lol
Jun 7, 2016 at 4:17 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I'm just thinking though this is looking like a Plaxico Burress moment for him
Jun 7, 2016 at 4:32 PM - SeahawkFan80: Aquib may be better off going to a safety position as a cover man. And my board thinks the same Burressmomentthing....
Jun 7, 2016 at 5:58 PM - adambr2: F>R I guess the stranger question is why you hate Janis so much and clearly wouldn't want to see him succeed. He IS one of our own.

Jun 8, 2016 at 6:04 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: As a WR myself I'm more critical of them in the pros. I feel like WR should be an immediate impact. Take a year to get the playbook down and then hit the ground running by year two. WRs are always a crowded group so when I see one who can't step in I'm always advocating for the next man up.
Jun 8, 2016 at 5:49 PM - adambr2: Generally we've had enough depth in Green Bay at WR where none of our WRs made an immediate impact. Cobb did little as a rookie. Nelson as I recall did virtually nothing his first couple seasons.

Jun 9, 2016 10:49 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Roddy White is available. He could be a great stopgap 2 year solution until we can draft a real WR next year.
Jun 9, 2016 10:59 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I know he's lost a step but he can still line up outside and with his length he doesn't have to be crazy fast.
Jun 9, 2016 12:59 PM - Poppa San: F>R You mean the Roddy White that has been a FA all off season and up until now has been ignored by 32 teams? That guy?
Jun 9, 2016 1:00 PM - Poppa San: If he's still that good, he must have a lot of off-field baggage.
Jun 9, 2016 1:01 PM - Poppa San: No, TT will not bring another "just OK" old guy to camp until injury bug hits and hard.
Jun 9, 2016 1:04 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I wouldn't get Roddy White, he's what ... 35 now or something? That's older than James Jones and I seen him play the last 2 years in ATL, he simply doesn't have the impact ability anymore of a number 2 or 3 guy and they knew they had to move on from him, bringing him here would be a downgrade over most of what we got
Jun 9, 2016 1:07 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I understand the concern after last year, but I really don't think we're in as bad a shape WR-wise with this roster as people think
Jun 9, 2016 1:10 PM - The program 61: F>R is like a paper cut that never heals to me
Jun 9, 2016 2:11 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Roddy White at 35 I would easily plug in as #4 Behind Montgomery
Jun 9, 2016 2:12 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Let Janis learn the playbook for a whole year. And if he shows in practice then let Roddy ride the bench en route to a ring.
Jun 9, 2016 3:38 PM - Green and Gold: I'd re-sign JJ before roddy.
Jun 9, 2016 8:39 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: As would I G&G but apparently TT has a personal vendetta against keeping quality talent on the roster.

Jun 11, 2016 at 1:50 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: White might be ok with an offense that would only use him in a complimentary role just as a stat pad to others who do most of the playmaking, but that offense is not here
Jun 11, 2016 at 1:54 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: and I think people are a bit too down on Devante Adams. 1 bad year doesn't mean you give up on him, though I'm fine with giving him some competition if it means he's going to step it up
Jun 11, 2016 at 1:55 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I think he's going to have a comeback year though and we'll see him really start to turn that corner
Jun 11, 2016 at 1:55 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: And Janis might not be Edelman yet, but I'll take my chances on a young work in progress like him over an old burnout who'd only be here a year at tops
Jun 11, 2016 at 2:05 PM - Green and Gold: Adams had a season that didn't live up to expectations. This season should be much improved by him.
Jun 11, 2016 at 2:31 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I also think a big problem last year was we were 1 dimensional at TE last year. Not that Cook is gonna propel us into top 5, but he's a solid "all around" veteran
Jun 11, 2016 at 2:33 PM - Twiddlemylobes: IF we get a significant improvement at our #3 spot we should be back in business with our passing attack.
Jun 11, 2016 at 3:34 PM - Jz3: Adams has never had a good year. He had a few good games as a rookie and was a ghost all the other games.
Jun 11, 2016 at 3:34 PM - Jz3: Adams has done nothing in 2 seasons.
Jun 11, 2016 at 3:35 PM - Jz3: He was hyped up as much as any Packers player ever in training camp last season and played like a scrub.
Jun 11, 2016 at 3:47 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: WRONG
Jun 11, 2016 at 7:16 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Jz3 I can see your perspective.

Jun 12, 2016 at 8:27 AM - Jz3: I didn't like Adams in his rookie year. I didn't see anything special about him. Went to a handful of practices last year and he was amazing. I thought he was going to bust out and have a pro bowl type year. I was wrong.
Jun 12, 2016 at 8:29 AM - Jz3: I have no idea what to expect next season on offense. I like to think last season was a fluke on offense.
Jun 12, 2016 at 8:29 AM - Jz3: I expect Lacy to bounce back in a contract year.
Jun 12, 2016 at 8:31 AM - Jz3: I don't know what to think about Cobb. Hard to judge players off one horrible year when they played good the rest.
Jun 12, 2016 at 8:34 AM - Jz3: Just got to forget about last season and not base anything off it.
Jun 12, 2016 at 8:37 AM - Jz3: Even Ty Montgomery's high ankle sprain injury early is the season is a head scratcher. How is he still injured and how did he never come back from a minor injury. So bizarre...
Jun 12, 2016 at 8:38 AM - Jz3: This team is just weird. That is why I am all for firing every coach and GM and just hitting a reset and getting a fresh start.
Jun 12, 2016 at 12:48 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Dumb move and thank god Mark Murphy disagrees with that
Jun 12, 2016 at 12:48 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I just gotta smh at some of you people
Jun 12, 2016 at 1:04 PM - Poppa San: Jz3> who do you get and why? Anyone and Someone else are not available. I want names.
Jun 12, 2016 at 5:01 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: He just doesn't understand that cleaning the house means cleaning the house, you do that and I'd say you could bet that another trip to the superbowl probably wouldn't happen for another 15-20 years, imo
Jun 12, 2016 at 5:03 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: We may or may not win the superbowl this year, but I'd say keeping MM and TT gives us a hell of a lot better chance than a house clean would
Jun 12, 2016 at 6:03 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Anyway having said that, when I make the trip back up north this winter, I'm going to try to time it up and arrange to get tickets for that Christmas Eve game at Lambeau against Minny, that's gonna be a hell of a game to see

Jun 13, 2016 8:12 AM - Ace: Fire every coach, and hit the reset button... When did the Packers become the Browns? What did I miss?
Jun 13, 2016 9:24 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: some people just have no clue
Jun 13, 2016 9:43 AM - Ace: I'll never understand how winning 10 games a year and having a shot at a SB every single year warrants firing MM or TT, or in this case the entire coaching staff and "hitting the reset button".
Jun 13, 2016 9:46 AM - Ace: It's fine to have an opinion but one so completely asanine definitely deserves some criticism. It's probably to get a rise out of people like me who fall for it, so bravo well done.
Jun 13, 2016 10:38 AM - Twiddlemylobes: 5 SB appearances,4 wins, 2 more NFC Championship games in the last 10 years that resulted in last second OT losses
Jun 13, 2016 10:48 AM - Twiddlemylobes: We are tied with the Giants at 4-1 for 5th most successful in modern day football
Jun 13, 2016 10:53 AM - Ace: But fire everyone, that'll fix our "issues"
Jun 13, 2016 11:43 AM - Twiddlemylobes: we could argue that there's only 1 team without issues n that's the reigning Champion. im pretty certain they would tell us they also have ongoing concerns too
Jun 13, 2016 11:47 AM - Ace: Sure, they don't have a QB, and thier best defensive player is cropping the GM out of pictures on Instagram. Things could be a lot worse
Jun 13, 2016 3:28 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Lol! Precisely
Jun 13, 2016 4:14 PM - Jz3: Every team in the NFL would win 10+ games a year with Rodgers at QB even the Browns.
Jun 13, 2016 4:14 PM - Jz3: The off season is over their are no coaches to go after right now.
Jun 13, 2016 4:15 PM - Jz3: But I would of went for Jim Harbaugh when he got fired for coach.
Jun 13, 2016 4:18 PM - Jz3: For GM I would probably look for someone more well rounded that likes to build through the draft but also uses every tool given and not afraid to do a trade or sign a impact FA.
Jun 13, 2016 4:39 PM - Twiddlemylobes: There's a long standing argument that Old Ted isn't aggressive enough (I have brought that very point up myself)
Jun 13, 2016 4:41 PM - Twiddlemylobes: But facts are facts and we've had moderate to good success with his picks and ill stand by my statement that he will always be looked at favorable when he finally retires
Jun 13, 2016 4:59 PM - Jz3: almost every draft pick goes to the defense with TT and the defense has never been good.
Jun 13, 2016 5:04 PM - Jz3: I never ever thought MM was a good coach. he rides Rodgers coat tails.
Jun 13, 2016 5:06 PM - Jz3: TT is not a bad GM. Maybe even top 10. But I do not like his style of draft only. I feel like his plan keeps us a playoff team but doesn't give us enough to be contending for super bowls.
Jun 13, 2016 5:08 PM - Jz3: And to the person that mention Mark Murphy. Guy is petafiler creepy. Has no football IQ and knows nothing. That is why TT and MM can never be fired.
Jun 13, 2016 5:09 PM - Jz3: Packers would be better off right now with a real owner. A real owner wouldn't sit back and waste away Rodgers career not going all out to win.
Jun 13, 2016 5:10 PM - Jz3: No fire in this Packers organization. Like yea we know were making the playoffs.
Jun 13, 2016 5:14 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Um. Ok I'll take John Elways Fire. That guys got competitive blood we could use
Jun 13, 2016 5:15 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Football is like poker. Some hands you gotta put the full weight of your chips in
Jun 13, 2016 5:56 PM - Poppa San: Mark Murphy, with consent of the BoD, hired TT to run the football side of the operations. Tells me he knows enough football to stay out of the way.

Jun 14, 2016 at 2:31 AM - longtimefan: Didn't mark Murphy play in nfl? And Ted doesn't make SB contender? I seem to recall packers in the NFCCG 3 times... Two times in position to go to the sb but the team dropped the ball so to speak
Jun 14, 2016 at 6:33 AM - Ace: Elway went for it right? Got Manning, Ware, spent a ton of money. It got them a ring, great. Look at them now, they aren't going to win that division
Jun 14, 2016 at 6:34 AM - Ace: I would love for Ted to be more aggressive but it's not going to happen and until he's gone we're all going to have to learn to live with that
Jun 14, 2016 at 6:35 AM - Ace: ANd what we're going to do in the meantime until he decides he's had enough is win 10+ games, and more than likely be in a great position to content for a SB. It's hard to ask for too much more than that IMO
Jun 14, 2016 at 8:01 AM - Green and Gold: Ted is good at some stuff, pretty damn bad at other stuff.
Jun 14, 2016 at 8:02 AM - Green and Gold: I think his pluses are greater than his minuses, and I would say he is generally one of the better GMs in the league.
Jun 14, 2016 at 11:31 AM - Jz3: Elway won a super bowl with nothing. He didn't have the best QB in the NFL in his prime. Elway wanting to win has won as many super bowls as we have with Rodgers in a short span.
Jun 14, 2016 at 11:33 AM - Jz3: Packers should be in the NFC championship almost ever season and get to a few more super bowls. That i s normal expectations for this team with Rodgers.
Jun 14, 2016 at 11:34 AM - Jz3: Can't say well we just blew a super bowl trip a year ago and with like 4 minutes left the odds of the Packers winning were like 99.1%. They still lost it because they ar elosers.
Jun 14, 2016 at 11:34 AM - Jz3: This team will always find a way to lose a big game
Jun 14, 2016 at 11:35 AM - Jz3: The Packers are the Thunder of the NFL. Good team every year but just don't have what it takes to ever win a championship. You can always count on them getting close and blowing it.
Jun 14, 2016 at 12:52 PM - Ace: Elway won a Super Bowl with nothing? Nothing? You're kidding me right?
Jun 14, 2016 at 7:48 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Let's keep MM but fire TT. Get a real GM.
Jun 14, 2016 at 7:48 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Promote Wolf immediately.
Jun 14, 2016 at 7:59 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Here's a few names I like as well.
Jun 14, 2016 at 7:59 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Scott McCloughan
Jun 14, 2016 at 8:00 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Scott Pioli- Falcons AGM
Jun 14, 2016 at 8:01 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Nick Caserio- Patriots DPP
Jun 14, 2016 at 8:02 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Will McClay- Cowboys ADPP
Jun 14, 2016 at 8:03 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Terry McDonough- Cardinals VPPP
Jun 14, 2016 at 8:05 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Jon Robinson- Buccaneers DPP
Jun 14, 2016 at 8:05 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Duke Tobin- Bengals DPP
Jun 14, 2016 at 8:06 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Do your research and get back to me on that

Jun 14, 2016 at 9:57 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: no, no, and hellllll no
Jun 14, 2016 at 10:01 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: These criticisms of TT are nothing but beating dead horses
Jun 14, 2016 at 10:15 PM - Green and Gold: If GB fired TT today, how many calls do you think he'd being fielding almost immediately? I'd say a lot.
Jun 14, 2016 at 11:18 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: And we would be making a handful of our own
Jun 14, 2016 at 11:19 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Carolina don't just say no....say why
Jun 15, 2016 at 6:11 AM - Ace: :speechless:
Jun 15, 2016 at 12:35 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Eugene Monroe available, let's sign him for cheap
Jun 15, 2016 at 1:20 PM - Ace: Nah
Jun 15, 2016 at 4:02 PM - Jz3: How many Super Bowls would TT's new team win in 10 years. I say zero. I say TT doesn't make it past year 3 without a Rodgers.
Jun 15, 2016 at 4:04 PM - Jz3: TT would get a new GM job from a desperate team hoping he could pull a rabbit out of the hat and draft a HoF QB again and build through the draft around him.
Jun 15, 2016 at 4:05 PM - Jz3: Odds are TT would bust on the QB's and his build through the draft only would get him to a 4-16 record every season until he gets that QB to carry his young team.
Jun 15, 2016 at 4:05 PM - Jz3: TT has done very poorly with building a defense and drafting. He has done good at skill positions but WR is deceiving because Rodgers brings the best out of every one.
Jun 15, 2016 at 4:06 PM - Jz3: *4-1 2 record.
Jun 15, 2016 at 4:07 PM - Jz3: MM would land another job as well and be fired in 2 seasons
Jun 15, 2016 at 4:07 PM - Jz3: Nobody would hire Capers.
Jun 15, 2016 at 4:10 PM - Jz3: If you can't even get into a super bowl the last 5 years with Rodgers in his prime your ot doing it with any team.
Jun 15, 2016 at 5:15 PM - Jz3: Don't let my bad words think I hate the Packers though.
Jun 15, 2016 at 5:15 PM - Jz3: I expect better
Jun 15, 2016 at 5:16 PM - Jz3: this team underachieves every season
Jun 15, 2016 at 5:17 PM - Jz3: i don't expect to win a super bowl every year or even make the playoffs 5 straight seasons but with the best QB in the NFL in his prime I expect more NFL championship games and sniffing the superbowl a few times.
Jun 15, 2016 at 5:17 PM - Jz3: Pats are in the AFC champ game every 4/5 seasons
Jun 15, 2016 at 5:18 PM - Jz3: their roster is not amazing. Might even be a worse roster than the Packers every year.
Jun 15, 2016 at 5:18 PM - Jz3: Pats do way more with less

Jun 15, 2016 9:38 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: someone forgot the memo that trolls are nor welcome here
Jun 15, 2016 9:38 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: *not
Jun 16, 2016 7:21 AM - Ace: You don't build a 10+ win team every year without using FA if you have not idea what you're doing
Jun 16, 2016 7:23 AM - Ace: The only thing I'll agree with Jz3 on is prior to the last couple years he had been very poor in building the D. I think the past couple years he has been much better
Jun 16, 2016 7:25 AM - Ace: Again, the second the "without Rodgers" argument is made, you lose all credibility in your argument. Who drafted Aaron Rodgers?
Jun 16, 2016 8:12 AM - Jz3: So Rodgers was going to end up being a HoF QB. So whatever GM drafted Rodgers automatically become a all time great GM?
Jun 16, 2016 8:14 AM - Jz3: Not like Rodgers went in the 6th round or undrafted. He was the second QB off the board and was project at like a 40% chance of being the #1 pick and Alex Smith was like a 60% chance..
Jun 16, 2016 8:16 AM - Jz3: Rodgers fell because teams drafting early didn't need a QB. Packers seen a opportunity that Favre was getting older. MB Favre accidentally sent TT a text pic of his ***** and that how we ended up drafting Rodgers. We don't know.
Jun 16, 2016 8:18 AM - Jz3: All I know is if TT didn't have Rodgers this build through the draft approach wouldn't work. You would never make the playoffs and it would get you fired.
Jun 16, 2016 8:19 AM - Green and Gold: Ted is pretty damn good at finding undrafted talent.
Jun 16, 2016 8:21 AM - Green and Gold: The problem is, so much of this is bigger then Ted. He isn't the only person picking, no GM is.
Jun 16, 2016 8:23 AM - Jz3: Agreed TT just gets the credit and blame.
Jun 16, 2016 8:24 AM - Jz3: Look at Jerry Jones and the Cowboys when they had Aikman. Jones was the GM and called the shots. Some would of said he is the best owner/GM ever.
Jun 16, 2016 8:26 AM - Jz3: Look at his moves after Aikman.
Jun 16, 2016 8:29 AM - Green and Gold: TT is probably on par with other long-term GMs in the league as far as success with draft picks go.
Jun 16, 2016 8:30 AM - Green and Gold: I really think the argument about whether TT is a good GM or not is irrelevant. He has been the GM of the team since 2005. After he turned over the roster and got the salary cap back in good order the team has consistently been in the playoffs, won the division, and won a Super Bowl. The combination of time + success shows that he is a good GM.
Jun 16, 2016 8:46 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I'd rather have a bad GM, than an "also-ran" GM.....that's what TT is
Jun 16, 2016 8:47 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: In the military, the biggest problems aren't the ones you've identified, it's not knowing that you have a problem at all.
Jun 16, 2016 9:05 AM - Ace: Jz3, So you know for a fact that without Rodgers, TT would have been fired by now? How can you say that?
Jun 16, 2016 9:08 AM - Ace: Alot of what Dallas did in the early 90's can be directly related to Minnesota being complete fools. Yes the trade still needed to be pulled off but Dallas was built on sheet stupidity by another team. What have they done since? 1 playoff win since what 1996?
Jun 16, 2016 9:09 AM - Ace: Don't sit here and tell me Jerry Jones is one of the best GM's ever. Owner sure I could get on board with that, he's is/was a terrible GM though.
Jun 16, 2016 9:10 AM - Ace: Dallas is only relevant now because of Bill Parcells seeing what nobody else saw in Romo, and allowing Stephen Jones to head up the drafts over the past few years. They've figured out how to build a team correctly
Jun 16, 2016 9:58 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: #FireTedThompson
Jun 16, 2016 9:59 AM - Ace: Lol
Jun 16, 2016 9:59 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: We should start a movement.
Jun 16, 2016 10:00 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: If you're the kind of Packers fan who is content with making it to the Divisional Round perennially and then saying "Well I'm sure they did their best...", then you're no friend of mine.
Jun 16, 2016 10:01 AM - Ace: He'll be stepping down soon enough so all you Ted haters can rejoice
Jun 16, 2016 10:01 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I would rather have a Packers team that went 2-14 back to back then to be mired in mediocrity.
Jun 16, 2016 10:01 AM - Ace: That's asanine
Jun 16, 2016 10:02 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: And then depending on who we hire as the new GM, #FireDomCapers
Jun 16, 2016 10:02 AM - Ace: When we don't win a SB for 5 years after Ted eventually leaves I'll be here to say I told you so
Jun 16, 2016 10:02 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I'm not worried, I'm always right.
Jun 16, 2016 10:03 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Just like with this Janis guy you guys treat like the second coming of Tim Brown.
Jun 16, 2016 10:03 AM - Ace: DO NOT LUMP ME IN WITH THE JANIS LOVERS. EVER

Jun 16, 2016 at 10:05 AM - Ace: Well he did draft him, what's he supposed to say?
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:05 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: If he drafted real receivers instead of gym rats who supposedly can catch a ball, we'd have more stuff to be excited about this year.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:06 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: He could just say he f**cked up.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:06 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: MM did it.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:06 AM - Ace: And I don't ever remember hearing TT say much of anything about Janis FWIW
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:07 AM - Ace: Um... your comment about the receivers is a joke right?
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:07 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: That's one of the horrible perks about being GM
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:07 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: MM gets all the criticism when things are going right with young talent, but keep in mind he can only coach the team he's given.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:08 AM - Ace: I agree, and that team is pretty damn good.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:09 AM - Ace: You're delusional if you think differently
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:09 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Not as good as we think.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:10 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Our OL is one season ending injury from abysmal. We don't have any back end WRs. Our defensive front is an enigma.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:10 AM - Ace: I guess if you consider a couple plays away from a SB appearance and a couple plays away from b2b NFCC games not as good as we think then I shutter at your thought of what good actually is
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:10 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Other than QB, RB, and DB. We've got a lot of questions to answer.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:11 AM - Ace: You keep ragging on the OLine and you're flat out wrong
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:11 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: This team is being held together by duct tape and paper clips. One crack and it all comes crashing down.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:11 AM - Ace: The defensive front I would tend to agree with actually
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:12 AM - Ace: I'm worried about the DLine but I think Clay exclusively back outside helps things immensly
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:12 AM - Ace: I think the LB's as a group will be vastly improved with Barrington and Martinez added
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:12 AM - Ace: You're wrong about the WR's too.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:21 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: We got Jordy, Cobb, and Montgomery hopefully.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:23 AM - Green and Gold: I could see Schneider taking over directly from TT if TT works for another 2-4 years.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:23 AM - Green and Gold: He also worked under Thompson in Seattle.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:31 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I don't know if I want a TT copy.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:32 AM - Ace: So you're writing Adams off after 2 years too then I see?
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:32 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I'll give him credit the Jimmy Graham trade was ballsy. I do have a hunch he can build a defense though.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:33 AM - Ace: Schneider is not a TT copy
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:33 AM - Ace: Do you think Ted would ever trade a starting center AND a draft pick for a TE?
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:33 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: TT wouldn't trade Janis for ODB
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:34 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Schmuck
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:34 AM - Ace: Now that's insanity
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:34 AM - Ace: Lol
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:35 AM - Ace: I don't know why I'm arguing with someone with your name about Ted Thompson. That's on me, I should know better

Jun 16, 2016 at 10:35 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Favre is the greatest
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:36 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: If you're not saying Don Hutson as a rebuttal than don't talk to me :-P
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:36 AM - Ace: Has nothing to do with Favre v. Rodgers
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:36 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I'm just saying
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:37 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: And now that we know Peyton is a cheater then the statement is even more valid.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:37 AM - Ace: I don't get into who the greatest is
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:37 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Favre....Is.....The.....Greatest
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:38 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I bet Favre could get this team to a SB
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:38 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Janis would just need to be the one trick pony that he is, hell he could start!
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:38 AM - Ace: If you're asking me who I'd rather have for a game winning drive under 2 mins? Give me Favre. To lead my team for an entire season? I'll take Rodgers. Doesn't mean I didn't love Favre
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:38 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: "Jeff just run as fast as you can that way, Brett will lob it up...."
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:39 AM - Ace: Favre was amazing, he also did some incredibly bone headed things as well.
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:40 AM - Ace: That's what made him so great, you never knew what was coming but you knew it was going to be incredible either way
Jun 16, 2016 at 10:42 AM - Ace: I miss watching Favre play, but I love watching Rodgers and his precision. 2 completely different styles but both incredibly effective
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Seahawks interested in Monroe....
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:01 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Schneider wiling to make Championship moves
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:02 AM - Ace: Wait a second, I thought he was a TT copy though?
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:02 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: And we know we need to have some contingency on the OL....
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:03 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I said I gave him credit for bringing in Graham!
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:03 AM - Ace: You think the Packers OLIne is bad... have you seen Seattles?
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:03 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I grade Monroe as better than Bakh
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:04 AM - Ace: Monroe is not a Championship move, it's a move to maybe help solidify an abysmal OLIne
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:04 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: That gives Spriggs and Bakh more time to learn RT
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:04 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Maybe even some C and OG
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:04 AM - Ace: Well you hate Bahk so I'll take it with a grain of salt
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:10 AM - Green and Gold: Wolf or Schneider will be our guy(s). Both are GB natives.
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:11 AM - Green and Gold: We can count on many many more years with a good GM, even after TT retires.
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:15 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I don't hate Bakh, he's good for his draft positon.
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:15 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: But to say we can't do better is gross negligence.
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:20 AM - Ace: He's really good for his draft position. Ofcourse we could do better, I'm not running out and signing the first street free agent though just because he may be better
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:23 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: We need depth. Especially when we might lose two of the best Guards in the league.
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:23 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Monroe can keep playing LT and Bakh could back him up along with Bulaga.
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:24 AM - Ace: And how do you propose TT entices Bahk to stay on as a backup when he could start elsewhere?
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:25 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Cross the road when we get to it.
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:25 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Win SB now

Jun 16, 2016 at 11:26 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Besides we all know Bulaga is going to go down for a sore toe or something for 2-4 games.
Jun 16, 2016 at 11:26 AM - Ace: Good luck with that
Jun 16, 2016 at 1:19 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I doubt it'll be a toe
Jun 16, 2016 at 1:19 PM - Twiddlemylobes: A sore orfice would be my guess. Lol
Jun 16, 2016 at 1:57 PM - SeahawkFan80: Ace, yes I have seen our oline.....(shudders).
Jun 16, 2016 at 2:35 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I can't wait till the season starts and these weirdo trolls disappear cuz this team is winning
Jun 16, 2016 at 2:51 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Trolls = Packers Fans who speak Universal Truth
Jun 16, 2016 at 2:58 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Yeah I'll bet that universal truth is you've never set foot in Lambeau before
Jun 16, 2016 at 3:08 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Your point?
Jun 16, 2016 at 3:10 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: That "your belly has stars upon thars"
Jun 16, 2016 at 5:24 PM - Pkrjones: If Monroe doesn't become a NY Giant I'll be very, VERY surprised... Marshall Newhouse is manning the starting RT position.
Jun 16, 2016 at 6:44 PM - Vltrophy: Ppl plz learn to read the signs. If it says no swimming don't let your 2 yr old dangle his feet in the water. Condolences to the kids family

Jun 16, 2016 9:05 PM - Jz3: dont let your 2y old play next to a lake with alligators alone
Jun 16, 2016 9:06 PM - Jz3: When you have kids and your a normal responsible adult you will realize that lie 90% of adults with kids shouldn't have kids and are terrible paretns
Jun 17, 2016 5:15 AM - Ace: "Packers fans who speak Universal Truth" may be the damn funniest thing I've ever seen
Jun 17, 2016 8:40 AM - brandon2348: duct tape and paper clips? Vegas has Pack favored to win all 16 games. I believe TT has done a good job of re-loading roster. I like what he has done. Gotta stay healthy but with the schedule there are "no excuses" this year.
Jun 17, 2016 9:43 AM - Green and Gold: Good to hear Abby is making plays.
Jun 17, 2016 1:46 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I wonder just how many sock puppets that bear_droppings guy has around here, I suspect F>R259 is one of them
Jun 17, 2016 3:56 PM - Poppa San: This is good news: https://www.packerforum.com/threads...und-draft-pick-kenny-clark.67390/#post-668039

Jun 17, 2016 5:04 PM - Green and Gold: TT got his man and it looks like he's got some very solid potential.

Jun 18, 2016 5:56 AM - The program 61: whats the odd vegas has at 16-0 might be a good bet
Jun 18, 2016 8:26 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: 16-0 even for us seems a bit of a reach, but I'll go with 13-3, that seems about right
Jun 18, 2016 8:28 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: And 13-3 is enough to win the top seed, there's no way this year that the Cards or Panthers are going to exceed that
Jun 18, 2016 8:35 AM - The program 61: everything F>R is pure gold
Jun 18, 2016 6:51 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: don't know if anyone watches any CFL games during the offseason or not, but I've taken to doing that, quality of play in that league can be quite a bit lower, but has some interesting games sometimes

Jun 19, 2016 at 11:35 AM - The program 61: madden 17 concerns me they say deepest franchise ever but all they did was due game planning and resign negotating where the draft and scouting featuer
Jun 19, 2016 at 8:27 PM - Jz3: Your whole offensive line can't get injured in Madden 17.
Jun 19, 2016 at 8:30 PM - Jz3: Just a unfinished game. Seems like the game had all broken old code and instead of starting fresh they slowly redo parts every year.
Jun 19, 2016 at 8:31 PM - Jz3: Sad we have a amazing MLB game, and NBA game but never a good NFL game. Almost as sad as no college sport games.
Jun 19, 2016 at 8:32 PM - Jz3: Doesn't matter though because on 6/19/2016 the NBA just showed it might be rigged.

Jun 20, 2016 at 10:42 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: If you guys are believing Vegas and us going 16-0 you truly need to stay off the drugs.
Jun 20, 2016 at 10:45 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: This is a 12-4 team, maybe even 11-5.
Jun 20, 2016 at 10:47 AM - The program 61: i think its possible with our schedule and how good we are but highly unlikely it happens but if i can bet 10 dollars to win 10k or 50k im going to take that bet.
Jun 20, 2016 at 11:24 AM - Ace: They're not going 16-0, and the schedule isn't as cushy as Vegas would lead you to believe. Jax is going to be better, Dallas will be better, Chicago is better, Houston is better, Indy is getting Luck back I mean I think the Packers are really good but don't look at the schedule and think it's a cake walk
Jun 20, 2016 at 11:26 AM - Ace: I think 12-4, 11-5 is much more realistic (assuming they're healthy ofcourse) but undefeated is a pipe dream
Jun 20, 2016 at 11:27 AM - The program 61: going undefeated isnt the best thing to do ask Golden state and the patriots
Jun 20, 2016 at 11:27 AM - The program 61: or panthers

Jun 20, 2016 at 11:28 AM - Ace: No means nothing other than you're talked about at nauseum. Need to finish
Jun 20, 2016 at 12:50 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: We all know we're going to start the season 0-2 and AR says "RELAX"....
Jun 20, 2016 at 12:56 PM - Ace: And he'll be correct. 0-2 isn't happening btw
Jun 20, 2016 at 4:01 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: You don't think the Jags and Vikings don't have a pinch of a chance?
Jun 20, 2016 at 4:32 PM - Jz3: Packers are a 10-12 win team. Got to factor in the injuries. Even with no injuries they wouldn;t win 15 or 16 games.
Jun 20, 2016 at 4:38 PM - Green and Gold: I feel like GB can beat anyone if healthy.
Jun 20, 2016 at 4:39 PM - Green and Gold: Packers themselves need to believe it, too.
Jun 20, 2016 at 5:21 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Not going 0-2, Jags might be improving, dont know but they'll only finish 8-8 at best, their defense still looks bad so I'm not worried about them. I said 13-3 from the outset and I'm sticking with it, Seahawks are going bad, Indy doesn't have a run defense, Houston's got an unproven QB, only teams I'm really all that concerned about are Minny, Atlanta, and maybe Philly on the road, or the NYG
Jun 20, 2016 at 5:21 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: matchup, but this schedule is very very ripe for 13-3
Jun 20, 2016 at 5:37 PM - SeahawkFan80: Yall have a lot of returnees coming back, but I would not say that we Hawks are going bad. We are filling holes with bodies that have been in the system for a while and since we let some go, they will have a chance to shine.
Jun 20, 2016 at 6:05 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Yea Schneider is a pro

Jun 21, 2016 at 6:02 AM - Ace: I could see the Seahawks come out alot like last year with all the new faces. A little sluggish at first but back to the Seahawks we know come Nov, Dec. Definitely not overlooking them, at least I'm not
Jun 21, 2016 at 7:45 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: MM giving Abbrederis praise....Janis now the odd man out?
Jun 21, 2016 at 7:45 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I sure hope so.
Jun 21, 2016 at 8:14 AM - Green and Gold: I can see 7 Recievers on the 53 with what happened last year.
Jun 21, 2016 at 8:15 AM - Green and Gold: Even though don't need 7 WR in the passing game.
Jun 21, 2016 at 8:39 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: While I don't like either, I'd rather pull for Abbrederis, he has more of an excuse, plus he played real football at Wisconsin.
Jun 21, 2016 at 10:08 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Still need some fantasy owners for my league, Real Packers Fans Only

Jun 22, 2016 11:59 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: wow, I've been hidin out too long but didn't know the badgers were gonna play their opener against LSU up in Lambeau

Jun 23, 2016 7:30 AM - Jz3: Can easily let all the FA's next year besides the O-Line which will take figuring out and see how each play this season.

Jun 25, 2016 7:36 PM - Jz3: If Lacy ever has another pro bowl season it will be this year. Lacy burned allot of FF teams last year and that gets held against the player going into next season always.

Jun 26, 2016 at 9:53 PM - Jz3: You can look at Clays early years and he was the top OLB in the NFL and around our super bowl and his contract he hit a drop off.
Jun 26, 2016 at 9:55 PM - Jz3: Still a good player but not the same since he stopped using PEDs.
Jun 27, 2016 at 11:37 AM - The program 61: Im sure he did it at some point to get s tronger and cut but his performance isnt affected because of it. no more PED but teams now game plan shift blocks his way to prevent him from getting a sack. Even if he was juicing head to head bullrush he still will get stonewalled by someone heavier then him so idk how PEDS other then speed helps him play
Jun 27, 2016 at 7:16 PM - jrock645: He was a factor all year in 2010. He was the only big pass rush threat we had. Help had to be shifted to his side because who else was there? Now he can't get off blocks anymore
Jun 27, 2016 at 7:18 PM - jrock645: I'm not entirely sold that it's such a great thing moving him outside all the time. He seemed to have such a revival being moved around. He'll be more predictable now and we'll get what we got from 11 through half of 14
Jun 27, 2016 at 7:18 PM - jrock645: And that wasn't a whole lot of production from clay.
