They're trying some new combinations tonight on the second string. They have to find out who can play.

Good stuff thus far:

James Jones: looking like an absolute stud in man coverage. Comparisons to Sterling are premature, but could be right on.

B. Jackson: the preseason reps are letting him develop comfort in the scheme. Tonight he's looking pretty sharp.

1st string offense: After last week's debacle, they came out looking great. With two weeks to go until the season opener, we can only expect them to improve.

The entire team: NO SERIOUS INJURIES!! I hope this continues throughout the preseason.

dunno, he used a helluva nice block from Chris Fancies
Ted plans on dealing Corey Williams and a second round pick for Larry Johnson. Should be finalized in the next two weeks....

Which is more bad news for Patrick Dendy. So far this pre-season, Bush, Williams and Blackmon have all had more of a positive impact than Dendy.

he lost the ball on a return and sprung a nice return because of a nice block by chris francies.
