How dare you say Rodgers isn`t perfect !!!! Corner !! Now !!

But the sack loses yards.
So I guess it's up to the punter to make that up?
I think the damage done by a lot of sacks that Rodgers takes is just overstated a bit. One thing I notice is he takes a lot of sacks if it's 3rd and long or something. As long as you aren't in FG range I prefer him to try and hold the ball and make something happen on 3rd down when throwing it away kills your drive just as much as a sack does.
Some of those extended plays led to a Superbowl too. Rodgers does throw the ball away a lot there are just certain situations where taking a sack isn't as damaging. He could get hurt on any play and a lot of the shots he takes in the pocket after the ball is already out of his hands are harder than the ones he takes scrambling. There has to be a limit somewhere right? If he threw the ball away immediately any time someones not open or there was pressure from one direction our offense would be awful. I think he does a fine job overall. A sack isn't the only time a QB gets hit and a sack doesn't even necessarily mean the QB was "hit"One of these sacks crushed his collarbone and nearly killed our season not that long ago. I would prefer him throwing the ball away more often.

that doesn't really account for situations though. there's not much point in completing a 2.5 second pass on 3rd and 15. you could do it and it would increase the completion percentage but it's probably not going to be a successful play. There's no denying that Rodgers is capable of extending plays but more often than not it doesn't work. There's something about that 2.5 second rule as evidenced by these numbers:
When Rodgers gets rid of the ball within 2.5 seconds he completes a pass on 74.2% of his dropbacks, if it takes longer only on 42.6%. I have to admit though that his passer rating indicates that a lot of the completions after 2.5 seconds result in big plays.

not if it doesn't pick up the first down which it's probably not likely toWell, it's for sure more succesful than throwing an incompletion or getting sacked.

It's gonna be like 5 yards, that's well worth the risk for Rodgers to try and make the 1st down. The games going to change a hell of a lot more based on a failed drive than it is on the punter having a 5 yard longer field. So yeah it is up to the punter to make that up.
