But yeah he definitely saved the bucks for the city and made the new owners a ton of money in the process. Aaron Rodgers 5 million dollar 1% stake is now worth somewhere around 50 million

A good man who did a lot of things for the state. Look at the Kohl Center at the University of Wisconsin. Herb donated $25 million to help build it. At that time, back in 1998, it was by far the largest donation every given to the University by one donor.

He believed in Milwaukee, the Badgers, and the entire state. He called it home, and was always there to help, using the fortune he amassed by owning the Kohl stores.

Good man! He will be dearly missed.
