Sarcasm...But?? If we wind up losing another 8 games due to a place kicker even a no.1 pick is not going to win that many for us.A no. 1 pick for a kicker?

TWO 4th quarter turnovers hurt as much as the two 1st half turnovers.I agree 100%. Pack just could not cover their first half mess - almost...but know, horseshoes and hand grenades.
They did that to us last season. About to put us away in the 4th. Then Cousins slips and tears his Achilles, we block a FG, and their back up fumbles. But we could not accept the gratuity. It happens.
And that is a good acronym. He looks nervous.Nervouson is a joke
I figured you were joking. I was going to piggyback on that and say just trade Malik Willis for a Kicker.Sarcasm...But?? If we wind up losing another 8 games due to a place kicker even a no.1 pick is not going to win that many for us.

No, they weren't garbage-time points, not even close. The Vikings simply couldn't put them away and their O went silent in the 2nd half. The FGs would have helped, but were not by themselves the whole story of the loss.I'm not saying GB didn't have its chances, and I wasn't able to watch the game, but it sounds like a lot of garbage time points to me.
Why not trade Gary? He's fallen off a cliff and maybe there's another team dumb enough to give up a worthwhile player for him.A no. 1 pick for a kicker?
When I say garbage time points, I mean maybe the Minnesota defense loosened up a bit and was more concerned with negating the big play than stopping us from moving the chains. Again, I couldn't watch the game, but I followed some of it on ESPN Gamecast. I don't think the Vikings likelihood to win stat ever went below 82%. The Vikings had a few 4th and short plays in which they punted. Our run defense is not renown. I would have gone for it. They also could have used more clock. When I say garbage time points, I mean maybe the Minnesota defense loosened up a bit and was more concerned with negating the big play than stopping us from moving the chains. Well, I'm glad we had our chances anyway. Maybe we can spoil their home game next time we play. The Vikings had a few 4th and short plays in which they punted. Our run defense is not renown. I would have gone for it. They also could have used more clock.
Correct. I mentioned a few weeks earlier that it was only a matter of time for him to get hurt AGAIN. Fortunately, we have wideouts. Heath and Melton are dying to get reps. Now if Love does not make that ill advised throw he is still walking.Watson has a high ankle sprain and will be out 4 to 6 weeks. Most likely, he's going on IR. I feel bad for him. He just doesn't have a body capable of playing in the NFL. Some guys are just glass. Another season wrecked by injuries. While I don't think he'll be traded or cut any time soon, this major injury means he's very likely not to be resigned after the end of his rookie contract.
If you are, I'm right there with you. He's really become a disappointment.Alexander out. I'm developing an opinion on his durability. Am I off the mark?
The Packers can't afford to lose Alexander. When he's on, he's a difference maker. It's not surprising that when he came back late last season, the team went in a mini run. Like Watson, he can't stay healthy. Both players are on the thin side.If you are, I'm right there with you. He's really become a disappointment.
Gute let Jones walk because.....????
Age?
I do have to agree with this, but damn... it just gets to where every season, we have to guess the over/ubnder on how many games he'll miss this year. I do appreciate his value, but the durability issue is getting disappointing. The Packers can't afford to lose Alexander. When he's on, he's a difference maker. Narveson.....Bum! If he had just made 1 fgTucker Craft......Bum!
Good points. The secondary could afford preventing the long pass because they knew the Packers would be passing. Yeah, and one from 37 yards, basically an XP, and in conditions as perfect as they'll ever get at Lambeau. Gluten will be a very, very busy guy this week. Can't do worse than the current situation.Narveson.....Bum! If he had just made 1 fg
Well said 13. It's no good to have an All Pro sitting in street clothes. He does get injured a lot.I do have to agree with this, but damn... it just gets to where every season, we have to guess the over/ubnder on how many games he'll miss this year. Agree 13. We have short memories. Jones hurt his hamstring in the first game last year and lost 3 or 4 weeks. And then he injured his MCL and missed significant time.I'll admit that today it looks like we gave up on him a year too early, but let's pick this up again in November/December. Could look like a much smarter longterm decision by that time.
After we got to 28-22 the Vikings went right to the air all the way down to get their FG. For some reason they did not want to pound the rock. Even when it was 28-14 they were going to the air. In the Dalvin Cook and Peterson days that would not happen. But the long pass INT and the Kraft fumble were costly. Love needed to throw it away. Kraft should have hit the sideline.Good points. Yeah a team cannot commit 5 turnovers, miss two easy FGs, and win, well almost never. I credit MLF and the team for not quitting down 28-0. That's about the only positive I can take from this loss. After we got to 28-22 the Vikings went right to the air all the way down to get their FG. For some reason they did not want to pound the rock. I think they saw J’aire out his backup Valentine out. Seems like a pretty logical thing just attack our weakest link, which was Nixon. Also scoring a TD would’ve kept us from Running the ball. Once our Run game was muted they can T up on Pass Rush sets, which they have had success with so far this season. After we got to 28-22 the Vikings went right to the air all the way down to get their FG.
