The Oilers never recovered from choking a 32 lead against the Bill's. The 2014 Packers never recovered and went nowhere until MM got canned and TT retired and the 2016 Falcons have been a basket case since choking away a 25 point lead in the Super Bowl.

The moral of the story is the stink of a massive gutless collapse can't be undone unless there's a house cleaning. The reason is the toxic culture of a team that allows a gutless collapse to happen has to be swept out. There's no internal way to fix that stink.

I'm not too surprised we lost. Last minute heroics didn't pan out, and two delay of games at the red zone didn't help either.

At this point it’s in our dna. LaFleur will get extended and as long as we keep making appearances in the postseason and turning a profit everything’s fine. Regular season and financial success carries far more value than winning in the postseason.

Would love to be proven wrong but deep down I think we all know this to be true. Unless we start bleeding money or consistently missing the playoffs, MLF is probably safe. We can only hope that his contract demands are steeper than we’re willing to pay.

Very true but they gave up 25 points in the 4th quarter. That's hard to do but Hafley's defense managed it.

I think they all have to go. MLF, Hafley,Stenovich and especially Bisacchia

Overall, the team plays hard but lacks the mental toughness to go far enough. And it is not just one or two players a week. Look at Stafford and the Rams today who fought through the adversity. That fortitude stems from the head coach. Tonight, the oldest player on the roster cost us the game, the kicker. That tells you something.
