Pleased that on Oliver’s debut he has 2 QB hits and Cox Jr in his first legit snap counts comes out and Logged a Sack against a 1st team Offense. The guy might just win a starting role if healthy next year.
Need to get these guys more involved

Defense exceeded. Offense well.. Tune stinks so, no chance.

Vanilla offense, Tune doesn't have many receiving options available. Hand off or throw to 1st read... and sometimes not enough time for 1st option to get open.

Always wondered why seemingly most times we get stomped on that we get a plethora of players injured. Truly adding injury to insult.
Yet in a game we Win it’s like we come out healthy 75% of the time.

Gute has had a dismal record in the first round but saved his *** by drafting well in the second round and spectacular in rounds 4-7.

Probably the biggest argument in favor of trading for Parsons. He's easily worth more than what we would likely get out of 2 firsts lol

Realize that had we not pulled out that tie in Dallas the Vikings would be playing to get in and knocking us out of it today. That game in big D came down to Parsons catching Prescott and Love hitting Golden on 4th down.

ok and if Doubs had fielded the damned onside kick….. we could do this all day.

I don't have any gripe with resting some starters but man, having your backups come out and not even look remotely interested or competitive, only to fall bass-ackwards into the playoffs on a 4 game losing streak is...less than ideal.

I wonder about that too. My high school football coaches used to preach that the more aggressive you play, the less likely both feet are planted in the ground which leads to fewer injuries. Their moto was "mobile, agile, hostile". Seemed to work for Mike Singletary and Jack Lambert. They were both undersized but quite durable.

Maybe those amateurs knew something?

Yeah I agree. At least try to get into the endzone on this drive.

The fact that they haven’t even remotely let Tune audition his arm in a meaningless game today tells me that he isn’t someone that they are seriously considering for the backup QB position next season.
