The Packers have notified the agent for return man and cornerback Will Blackmon that he'll be getting the low tender in restricted free agency.

The $1.176 million tender gives the Packers the right of first refusal if he signs with another team and a pick in the round he was drafted as compensation if they don't match. Blackmon was a fourth-round draft pick.

Safe move here.

Daryn Colledge will be tendered by the Green Bay Packers-not yet known which tender but it would be assumed it is the Low Tender. In which case they would hold the right of refusal over any other team or receive a 2nd Round Pick in return. Lang IS a RT but will play Guard

Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy indicated that the team will tender an offer to exclusive rights free-agent P Jeremy Kapinos but said Kapinos will have to perform better to make the team next season. Was a twitter post.

Starting to take shape.

Not surprised by any of the moves. Mike Montgomery has asked for his release by the way (McGinn also pointed that out I beleive).

Colledge will be back and compete w/ Spitz which adds depth to the line if Spitz's back is ok, which I heard it was, BUT it is a back so...

None of these moves are unexpected. It is fun to start seeing the wheels rolling on the new season though. Cant wait for the draft!
