Cooper is going to be an absolute beast this year. I really think he might end up becoming one of our better players even in just his second year.

Some guys just have a nose for the football - among LBs I think of Micah Parsons as the best. Cooper certainly looks the part. And considering a fairly average pass rush from the DT and Edge players, I wouldn't be surprised if Cooper led the team in sacks.

Evan Williams seems like another guy always around the ball. These guys just seem to always know where the football is, or will be. I don't think that can be coached.

Do we need a new thread for 2025 OTA's? I don't thing so.

A good listen, with Matt talking about seeing the guys back on the field. Sounds like Cooper's off season has him 20 lbs heavier and guessing it's mainly muscle weight. Anxious to see the guy in year 2!

We might need a new thread. I backed up a page and thought Love was negotiating a bigger contract! Scared the begeesus out of me!
Then I realized it was from 2024 a full year ago. :)

Cooper added 20 lbs in the offseason, wow (and I agree it's all muscle)? That makes him even scarier for opponents - and it provides some injury insurance for him.

It takes me two months in the gym six days a week to increase skeletal muscle mass by 2, maybe 3 lbs. At my age, contact sports aren't on the horizon - fortunately. If Cooper's weight gain is real and it's mostly muscle - well that is an extraordinary feat for any player. Good for him. Thanks for the info Poker.

I added 10lbs in the offseason, which I thought was pretty phenomenal but my doctor said fat is not ideal. Sheesh
