I get accused of hijacking conversations.
I'll try to limit my discussions to here if I can.
I do come to this site to have some friendly banter, but it is what it is.
I genuinely loathe the Packers......and arguing with you guys is a highlight of my life. Hahahhahahaha
Take that as you will......

Now....Brad Maynard was a heck of a Punter back in da day for Da Bears.....
He did get a bunch of reps....unfortunately....

Do not know if you remember a guy named Bobby Joe Green with the Bears. Very good at coffin corner punts.

I think the Packers were hoping for a Ray Guy when they drafted Ray Stachowicz back in 1981. The only thing they got close was the Ray part.

Not to change the subject but recall a Bear placekicker who was considered very good at a time when kickers were good when they only hit 50-60 per cent of their attempts. His name was Mac Percival.

Do you remember Tom Birney? A left footed kicker, I remember him shanking a FG really bad, like missed by about 15 to 20 yds to the right, but there was a penalty, so he got another try and missed that one by even more than the first one.

Lou Groza. Maybe mediocre in his stats but not in his time. Steve Mira. I watched him kick 50 yard field goals pregame and was amazed. Myhra
