We've taken a huge u-turn on this thread, and that's partially my fault.

To get back on topic, are there any updates on Jacobs' legal status? It's taking a very long time for the police/DA so hopefully this can get resolved for everyone involved.

The Packers seem to be going about business as usual. Jacobs is practicing and looks good. Lloyd hasn't injured himself and that is a huge victory. Seriously, I'd love to see what this guy has. He's sought out expert help, much like Watson did a few years back, to deal with soft-tissue problems, mostly the dreaded hamstring.

Even if Jacobs returns full time this season, the Packers need to groom a replacement. Good backs are available throughout the draft if the GM looks hard enough. Hopefully they already have that guy in Lloyd. Hopefully…….

It is intriguing how one player's futile fate can open the door for another, whether it be injury or happenstance.

Well today they legalized fertilizer with forever chemicals in it . Not sure people understand what this stuff is... It changes your DNA. It doesn't just kill you. It attacks your bloodline.

This happens every time you challenge them. Like we are doing now.

It makes much more sense when you understand that according to their God. We all are gayam. And deserve to die.

I’m 100% convinced that Evil doesn’t follow a political affiliation, so as not to make this a Political discussion. Evil people don’t draw party lines they run rampant. So when I see sides attacking each other it’s comical level because they’re all offended at the littlest thing, but a simple 30 minutes in fast reading or research dissolves much of the fear campaign. Im not sure if you’re referring to this safety protocol with $5B (yes Billions) attached to its promotion. This is not old news there’s been ongoing research in the safest way to handle the rise in synthetic chemicals over the last 30+ years. Some new aspects of the global issue in the last 10-15 years have created a worthy focus. This isn’t a new problem or one that initiated in January 2025. It’s in response to a perceived partial failure to implement a previous strategies because of the more broad focus. It’s called get your Oxygrn mask on and resolve the first issue to better attack both short and long term issues.

Very good answer. Rather than claim the sky is falling all the time people must learn to be realistic and use common sense. The Surgeon General gave information in regard to the effects of tobacco in 1963, pretty much what was already suspected. Yet, 6 decades later people by the millions still smoke and still pay the price. There is a big push from the environmental side to ban all glycophosphates, Roundup, being the big one. Monsanto lobbies as hard as those opposing it.
The equation may not be weighed in a courtroom. Those that oppose the glyco believe it saves millions of lives. Those that do not also understand the impact it would have on world food production. And any modern organic integrated form of agriculture could not meet the volume demand in this world no matter how hard they try to sell it. Maybe 150 years ago. The cost for the farmer, the shipper, the supplier, and the consumer would sky rocket. Shortages would be rampant. Simply, removing all herbicides and pesticides from the process are not as easy as switching to decaf coffee like some believe.
I have used Roundup for over 40 years, e.g. I am still here. Misuse of a product can lead to disaster, especially at high volume. As far as political, those companies lobby both parties, and give money to both as well.

All it takes is a handful of pseudo science to be applied and it will appear as snake oil being sold. So the articulation has to be better to convince millions and millions and to help them understand it.

I don't know how you can go from ddt, agent orange and tobacco to a knock on science. I mean the big companies pay scientists? to lie for them. But the science, real science, was always there.
