Do not know if he is innocent or guilty, always innocent until proven guilty unless there is clear evidence (video, etc) . However saying all that the guy was arrested on very serious charges, having him at OTA's with the team should have been a "no go". How will it look if he is charged, the Packers and NFL will look bad in everyone's eyes. He should have been suspended pending outcome of the investigation by both the Pack and NFL. As for this team, the Parsons news is a severe hit, gone for at least 6 games likely and possibly 8. The Packers do not (on paper) have the D players to replace him (even 2 for his 1). They had holes after the draft, still have holes and now more than before, not looking good.
Only hopeful fools thought his time line would be less than 9 months....I mean seriously folks were grasping to an illogical outlier rate of recovery it boggled my mind. I personally planned on 12 months and hoped to be surpised. He tore one of the most crucial tendons in the body and damaged his miniscus.
This is no "severe hit" to anyone on the team or in the organization except those with their heads in the sand.
