Do not know if he is innocent or guilty, always innocent until proven guilty unless there is clear evidence (video, etc) . However saying all that the guy was arrested on very serious charges, having him at OTA's with the team should have been a "no go". How will it look if he is charged, the Packers and NFL will look bad in everyone's eyes. He should have been suspended pending outcome of the investigation by both the Pack and NFL. As for this team, the Parsons news is a severe hit, gone for at least 6 games likely and possibly 8. The Packers do not (on paper) have the D players to replace him (even 2 for his 1). They had holes after the draft, still have holes and now more than before, not looking good.

Only hopeful fools thought his time line would be less than 9 months....I mean seriously folks were grasping to an illogical outlier rate of recovery it boggled my mind. I personally planned on 12 months and hoped to be surpised. He tore one of the most crucial tendons in the body and damaged his miniscus.

This is no "severe hit" to anyone on the team or in the organization except those with their heads in the sand.

We all knew with the timing of the injury from 2025 that our first half of the season would not be pretty. And that includes Kraft and Wyatt. And we may never see Fitzpatrick in a Packer uniform again. That is why most of our optimism should be directed toward 2027. If the team can play elite football in the final 9 games of the season they could make the playoffs. That is a big if, but like Rodgers said, " We can run the table. " They did that year.
I've long said this team just needs to hold serve until Kraft / Wyatt / Tom all get into their grooves and when Parsons returns you hope all cylinders a go....but our schedule in truth could not have lined up better....

Our first four games which Parsons for sure won't play I see legit shot at worst case being 3-1 heading into match up with the Bears October 11. That's W's @Vikings, @Jets, vs Falcons and then for the exercise say we lose @Tampa Bay. Now we do face our first of many short weeks playing Jets on the 20th and the Falcons immediately on the 24th...but still I got confidence in legit could or should be 3-1 or 4-0

Bears game is the first game I could see Parsons MAYBE be back...but sitting at 3-1 we enter a small gauntlet:

vs Bears

From there Parsons becomes quite likely to be returning....I predict it is actually the Cowboys game where he gets his first few snaps...but first gaem back playing decent number of snaps will be @ Lions (Oct 25th) or vs Carolina (Oct 29th)

Would be terrific if he can get some reps vs. Dallas of all teams. Maybe catch Dak trying to take off.
I am not so sure about getting by the Vikings in Week One at their place. Very loud. And they tend to play some of their best football early. They still have a lot of veterans on that team that know how to win. If their O line can get it done this year that offense could be scary. I think we could beat them in GB later on. This is a big test for MLF. Can he instill some of that Lombardi grit in his players so that they become determined to beat the opponent or will they continue to be sheep looking for the shepherd. This will especially be true in the first half of the season. But the Packers cannot take the Jets, Atlanta, Carolina, New Orleans and Miami lightly. Just as we are capable of beating all of them we have shown that those teams are capable of knocking us off as well. All it takes is one bad week of practice or a misconstrued game plan, or looking ahead.

Nothing shared has ever claimed charges filed. Arrested is not charged. As of right now nothing has been filed against him.
I was looking at the post you used to start this the read - from Adam Schetter saying Jacobs was jailed on five charges. I thought that was a more recent post, my mistake. It was dated May 26, 2026 and is still there, and is still apparently incorrect. NBD.

Anyway, it looks like as of this morning (June 4), Jacobs has not been arrested or charged.

An opening win would be a huge lift for the team, well for everyone. It has been very hard for the Packers to beat the Queens in Minnesota. As you note, they might have a v good offense this year (although I have my doubts with JJM behind the wheel).

We've hit the 'let's look forward to 2027' phase on 6/3/26?

It's an eternity in football time from now until week 1 just as it is an eternity from week 1 to playoffs. Love to see how training camp goes and preseason with not only the Packers but other teams before I start mailing in the season.

Jacobs was arrested and spent the night in jail. He just hasn't been charged with anything yet.

Ok. I’m a little more Bullish but then again I’m sitting on a Chair with a Packer blanket sprawled across it :whistling:

We do have a difficult schedule, let’s factor that. However nothing that really frightens me either.

My guess is Wyatt will start Week 1. The only thing good from his injury is it happened with time to spare in 2025.

Im no Doctor, but I follow history of some of these injuries closer than many do. Watson was in a live game less than 9.5 months after his ACL surgery. If Tucker follows that pathway he’d be returning last week of August, which we all know is when Preseason is winding down. I’d put odds at 65% that Kraft starts Week 1 (snap count) and is full throttle by late September Week 3-4.

Parsons is the most fragile projection. He was 5 months post surgery on May 29th. Sept 29 is 9 months, 4 days? post surgery. A reasonable guess is Oct 11th and that just happens to be a goal he mentioned like a month or so ago. I don’t thinks it’s unreasonable at all. I think Micah will play in 11-12 games and he’ll be full throttle in the last 10 games. If GB is displaying anything that is deemed a normal pass rush? I think they’ll hold Micah back until week 7-8 just precautionary. Internal wire is they are not going to rush him. No Pun Intended!

Zach Tom should be returning more regular middle of training Camp. As with any injury we need not rush it. There’s a 90% Tom starts Week 1.

I think the OL could decide GB’s fate. That’s said I like the trend. Towards the end of last season Aaron Banks was turning a corner and putting some nice performances together. My understanding is it was minor Injuries mixed with gaining some continuity in a new system.

Sean struggled early at Center, but he was thrown into that role past mid season which isn’t ideal. Plus at least leveled off some and became more normalized down the stretch. Sean will have an entire Offseason of work and that makes a huge difference. The experience he has at Center will only give him confidence. It’s not like he’s a Rookie. I suspect his run blocking will stay stellar and his Pass blocking will normalize and especially as that group gains continuity.

Belton was Belton. He didn’t impress but he wasn’t awful either. Yet we’re talking about a guy thrown into the mix past mid season in his Rookie year. The chances he’ll improve are 3:1 probability over regression.

Zach Tom was a rollercoaster of injuries and he should be back Week 1 or thereabouts from recent reports. Just him being in the field is an upgrade. Belton has been getting work at RT early on. Jager has gotten reps already at Belton’s RG spot. John Williams is seeing some Center snaps in a battle for backup Center.

I didn’t realize how bad Rasheed Walker finished. 5 Sacks, double digit hurries and 11 flags. I think he’s just a medium Floor but medium ceiling guy. He was serviceable and fit a 7th Rounder you can’t complain. Let’s face it though we don’t need a plscemarker at LT, we need someone who can move the needle. Morgan has FAR more upside and still similar floor. Very good chance we get an improvement at LT there.
