I wonder what Jagz thinks of Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers?

Given that Jagonzinski coached Aaron Rodgers for a year at Green Bay
and also coached Matt Ryan for a year...at Boston College

I'm really curious who he would prefer to lead his team?

NFL scouts rated Aaron higher than all the QBs in this draft but rated him equal to Ryan.

I wonder how Jagz thinks and who he would prefer.

Wonder if we'll ever know...

Did you just bring up the notion that our rookie third/fourth string arm is even in the equation?

EDIT: Or is that just a typo.

That is why I should not be on the forum when I am writing a fifty page paper for a crap professor.

But can't that be acquainted to them team and not Ryan then. I admit he played great at the QB position but before last season did they even have much of a BCS team?

if ESPN does its job, they should find out. This is exactly the type of stuff ESPN exists for, yet they don't do stuff like this anymore.

Now show me the top 10 plays of the night!

First of all, A-Rod is better than Matt Ryan will ever be. The simple fact is that he was learning from the best Brett Favre, Matt Ryan was playing in college. Talent-wise they are very similar, but when brains come down to it A-Rod takes the cake.

Yeah, and make sure to include all the basketball, hockey, horse-racing, sharp-shooting, and competitive cheer leading competitions that I couldn't give a crap about.

I'm not ready to crown A-Rod as the next great QB. Favre had some bad habits and I hope he did not pick up on them. Let us just wait and see how things pan out.

Jagz would avoid the question like a plaque.. even if he just honestly answered the question.. he runs the risk of either tainting the program with his doubt of their products/players or might upset a possible positive relationship with a pro team and front office that might throw him a bone or two with giving his kids a work out etc.

But I would love to hear the opinion.. Ryan to me has a bigger boom or bust factor.. at times in college he played with a wild side to him.. ala to a degree like Favre.. only thing is I don't think he can backup the play to that level.. never really seen that with Rodgers comming out or so far in the pros.. more controlled and probably less of a negative risk.

Nah, avoiding questions means you're hiding something or think something crazy(according to the media hype machine)

He'd probably say a lot of nothing, Ted style:

"Aaron and Matt are two very good quarterbacks. I think both will be successful pro quarterbacks. They both have their own abilities and ways of going about the game, but both are competitive and I am glad to have coached both men. :runs away: "

The thing is, you kind of have to be a politician nowadays in sports. All those people are such politicians in interviews.
