I'm a Louisiana girl who's been a Packer fan for as long as I can remember...I'm going to Milwaukee in a couple weeks for work, and I plan on staying a couple extra days so that I can FINALLY visit Lambeau!! I'm definitely gonna do the tour, and I'm hoping to participate in the 5K at Lambeau.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what else to do or where else to go?? I'd really appreciate any help! :)

Well, Elvis Presley's wooden roller coaster is at Bay Beach Amusement Park, now. When I'm up in GB I like to grab a pizza at Cranky Pat's. Or is it called Frank and Pat's?

Should visit the casino next to the airport if you're into gambling (outside of football).

Definitely go to the Stadium View Bar and Grille. There is always a good time to be had there. Also, there are several other fun places all around it (including Lambeau Field).

I am a fan of Curley's pub inside the stadium ( i know others are not)...but the cheese in WI is the REAL DEAL!
Also, the touristy thing to do in Milwaukee is the Miller Brewing tour! you get free beer

Well there is the trifecta of brewery tours in Milwaukee by going to on the Miller, Sprecher, and Lakefront tours. However, as for the specific request about Green Bay I know that they are trying to create a "heritage" tour. It allows people to walk around to the different locations that have special meaning in Packers history. You could probably do some research in order to do your own tour since I don't think that the heritage trail has been created yet. Here is an article about it:

When I visited Lambeau during the offseason in 08, the tour and the packer hall of fame were cheap and completely worth it. They got some cool things in the gift shop too like a newspaper from when the Packers won Super Bowl XXXI.

Are you single?

Also, go to Bay Beach.... great little amusement park with old school super low prices you can't find anywhere else.
The Zippin Pippin is a must do.

Depends... what interests you? Food, culture, history, entertainment, nature? A bunch of people will just give you a list of bars, but there's a lot more to life than booze.

True Green, but a lot of us enjoy both and at the same time. Not falling down drunk, rather responceable behavior where a few drinks helps lighten the mood.

CG22 not sure what to tell ya, having never been there either. You are bringing out the envy in me . :alien:

I'm a big big Brett Favre fan. I know a lot of ppl aren't, but I always have been. I'd love to know about any little hole in the wall restaurants (burgers, pizza, Mexican, etc). I love country music (go figure lol).

Thank y'all for the help!!!

Go to the Prime Quarter. Beats the hell out of Brett Favre's Steakhouse. You get to pick your meat and cook it around a roaring fire while you talk to Green Bay Folks.

Oh by the way in Green Bay it is customary to go topless when you see any Packer player. So be prepared.

Obviously, you want to go to Favre's Steakhouse then. You'll also want to go to Chili John's on Military Ave. It's probably the oldest restaurant in Green Bay. It's been there more than 100 years and the Chili is world-class. Just ask them to drain the grease before they serve it! You should also go to Kroll's for another taste that is uniquely Green Bay. Want Mexican? I'd recommend Los Banditos. Another excellent "hole in the wall" restaurant is Pasquale's in De Pere (it's about 10 minutes or so from Lambeau).

(BTW, wanna save some money while you're there? Hear me out on this one. If you want some excellent food for a dirt cheap price, then stop by the Greenbrier Cafe at Aurora Baycare hospital on the east side of town. I kid you not, it's not your typical hospital food. You can easily feed a family of 4 for $10 there without leaving hungry. Might put a little extra coin in your pocket for when you go to Favre's for steak.)
